Does anybody know if Jess has ever seen Primeval? It seems unlikely that she hasn't - due to the central theme - If she hasn't, wow! Shocked and surprised!

As a Buffy fan too, this was a treat! No matter how many times I hear James speak with his American accent though I do a double take. So hard to separate him from Spike. I like this episode because of them, but I did feel they leaned on their appeal too much. Some glaring omissions. Biggest one is the discussion over leaving. We can guess they give up because they are so powerful, but two episodes after Amy they don't highlight that discussion? Amy had a valid excuse for killing, though I support Dean's decision, but these guys were just petty. It was bad writing. It keeps it from being a favorite, despite the crossover of my 2 absolute favorite shows.

Maybe we should kick up a commotion like a raptor in a track suit and see if we can get it noticed! Not many, if at all, reactors to Primeval. Of course, Jess may very well have seen the whole series!

From what I see, Tim Haines - who created Walking With Dinosaurs - originally intended Primeval as a production for the BBC had it turned down in 2005 due to being deemed too similar to Doctor Who by Beeb's execs! Maybe that was to Primeval's advantage? It had its own independent existence.
