Yeah, this episode was an emotional one. Plenty of scenes that got to me. That scene with Aaron, who yes, he does have a most impressive beard, that talk he gave to Lydia was very sweet. The line that got me in the heart was “You know, after he died, I thought, you know, I'd give anything to take back just one of those nos so that we could have one more day together.” I just went, “Oh. Oh, that’s a good line.” The scene with Mercer and Princess was a scene that got to me as well. The acting for both characters in that scene was superb. And yeah, Princess’s line, “Because... of what happened to me... when I see a man, I see a monster. I've been seeing them like that long before they were dying and coming back as actual monsters. But I know that's not you. I just want you to know that.” was I agree, a line that gets to you. Regarding Mercer’s dilemma, I see his predicament. Hopefully he makes the right call. Or at least as close to the right call as he can under the circumstances. Then there’s Eugene, which I did notice that about the opening sequence covering his story. I thought it was very lovely hearing everything you had to say about Eugene in these post-episode thoughts. I share your and Daryl’s view when Eugene is apologizing for causing the mess that kill Sebastian. I even said, “Ah, fuck him. It was nice to see you take that prick down.” It was a humorous moment when Eugene put his dukes up, which then led into the great heart to heart he and Daryl shared. When Eugene asked the question, “Do you think people are born brave, or do they become it?” before Daryl answered “Both.” I said, “I’d wager it’s perhaps a mixture of the two.” That scene where Eugene says goodbye to Rosita and then surrenders was perhaps the emotional high point of the episode. All throughout the episode, I got emotional. Then I see your reaction, and I see you cry at the emotional moments, and I start crying along with you. Let me just say, Jess, that you are NOT crying way too much. It’s the same as it was in the past. Your tears convey just how much you really do care about the shows and characters that you watch. Every time you cry during these reactions, it lays bare the depth of your compassion, your empathy, your kindness. And since The Walking Dead is your favorite show, which is now coming to an end, it is only natural that the tears would be more prominent, and/or frequent than usual. I'll freely admit that I could be venting some as I've gotten so sick to death over the perception of tears being signs of weakness, when it’s quite the opposite. They show incredible strength. And concerning your fear of how the rest of the series is going to go, and you’re afraid that you’re not going to make it, you ARE going to make it, Jess. I have faith in you that you will make it. I’ll be right there with you the rest of the way. Sure, I'm not as into this show as you are, but I'm sticking by you through to the end, Jess.

Somebody commented that scene was not only Eugene and Rosita saying goodbye but Christian and Josh saying goodbye and I cried again.
