I’m really hoping one of the show’s stingers will be someone asking Matt why his new suit is yellow, to which he replies “What do you mean, it’s yellow?” And in case anyone’s unaware, that’s actually his original suit from the comics, though it’s pretty universally agreed both the red and black suits are better, so it’s a bit weird they’re using it here.

First off, Jess, I’m very happy to hear you say that you’re feeling much better. Again, we have a fun episode. It’s funny how Jen’s mad at the name dispute, and to be fair most everyone in this episode does have a point in that as soon as all the She-Hulk shenanigans started, more specifically as soon as people came up with the name, the first thing Jen should have done was call the patent office, tell them to copyright the name "She-Hulk" and get a quarter every time somebody says it. I like seeing more of Nikki and Pug. Got somewhat confused by Pug’s being super into sneakers, and said out loud, “Do men really buy and stockpile a shitload of high-end sneakers?” I also shared Nikki’s confusion over when Pug said the name, the Drip-Broker, and I said, “What the holy hell does that mean?” Fun moment with the knock-off Avengers moichandise, complete with the little easter-egg of Alan Silvestri’s Avenger’s theme. A most effective legal strategy Jen used, even if it was highly uncomfortable. I’m with you on feeling the discomfort. The guy who openly admitted that he was only into She-Hulk, I said, “Goddamn, man, that’s cold.” Given that Jameela Jamil was one of the more openly advertised cast members for the show, I also assume that Titania will be, shall we say a consistent threat, or at the very least, a nuisance throughout the show. I had suspected you’d be wanting to see Jen’s new outfits. My guess is at least the one will debut next week, and the “little something extra” will be the She-Hulk outfit from the comics, that will not be revealed until the final episode. Now on to the big little tease at the end. I KNEW you would be SO happy when you saw that! You’re right of course that they show that, stands to reason we will see Daredevil in the show, because if they don’t, that’s bad form on the show’s part. Besides which, he is in fact a lawyer, so it therefore makes reasonable sense that he would appear in a legal capacity if nothing else. Your reaction to the final scene was the highlight of the reaction, as I knew it would be. It reminds me of myself whenever there’s new Star Wars material and I discover that Palpatine and/or Darth Sidious if you prefer will appear, and I become just as giddy as a kid at Christmas. Seeing how happy you got has made me really happy as well. It was just so wonderful to see, Jess, as was this reaction, which I thank you for.

That would be funny, yeah. Now I also kind of hope they do that.

The first episode of The World According to Jeff Goldblum (also on Disney+) is about sneaker collectors. One of them explains it as being like baseball cards, to which my response was "I've never understood collecting those either, so that doesn't help me."

So, I’m not alone in being confused by sneaker collecting. Ok, because I was genuinely curious if I was alone about that. Collecting baseball cards, I suppose it kind of makes sense if you were looking for specific players that were your favorites, even then it still seems odd. Of course, who am I to judge?

Ryan

It also helps that you can keep them in something the size of a phone book, while a decent sized sneaker collection requires its own room.

That is true the point you made about storage space. Out of curiosity, I watched that Jeff Goldblum episode you mentioned, and I agree with Jeff’s assessment that it is, I believe he described it as a “Garish, yet fascinating foreign land.” I can’t relate to any of it as all I buy and wear are plain, black, orthopedic Velcro shoes, that’s it. I did laugh myself silly at Jeff's Godfather references.
