I was really looking forward to your reaction to this episode and you did not disappoint. Misha literally tweeted that to the fandom back then (I wasn't watching the show at the time, but I've gone back to look for the tweet. It still exists). I also loved them including a clip from Jensen on Days of Our Lives (that's the first show I saw him on... I watched that soap religiously back in the 90s), and for bringing "Fake Ruby" (aka Jared's actual wife) in for this episode. I believe Jared kept one of the art pieces they created for the set (and that wasn't his actual house. I think Jared and Jensen had moved back to Austin, TX by this point and were commuting to Vancouver every week, and flying home on the weekends). Misha really wanted to make his character of Misha more of a douchebag than he came across, but he was very onboard with "Misha" being murdered. Hoping you feel better soon!

The episode’s title comes from Blazing Saddles, when the movie’s climax obliterates the fourth wall and the big fight scene crashes out of its own set into a musical number called The French Mistake.

episode The boys are much more down to earth but they wanted poke fun at themselves Jared really is married to to Ruby(Genevieve Padalecki) and they have 3 children. They met and started dating during filming . That’s why their chemistry on screen is so good . Jared says his kids can never watch the show because daddy and uncle Jensen kill mommy. Jared and Gen really are involved with a lot of charity stuff Misha is very funny and chaotic unlike Cas. He’s really active in charity work as well. Misha is crazy on twitter and tweets all the timeJensen and Jared and Misha loved to play pranks on each other and goof around as you will see on the gag reels. Bobby is named after Bob Singer one of the real producers but that’s an actor not him . That’s not really Kripke either but the woman on the voice call is Sera Gamble a writer and producer well known for being a huge Sam girl. Jensen really was on Days of our Lives. Jensen and Jared each got one of the working impalas from the set after the show ended . Jensen brings it to the brewery he runs called Family Business ( of course it’s named for a show reference!) sometimes for fans to take pictures. Jensen puts on a deeper voice for Dean and so does Misha for Cas and they joke about it a lot . Jensen and Jared live next to each other and their family’s are very close and their kids call each other uncle. This a really great and fun episode for fans that know all the lore and also new fans.
