Yeah, this show does a very good job in getting you to see the perspective of all the characters, and makes you gravitate to each of them in different ways. I understand why Vi is so adamant about trying to get through to Jinx. Unfortunately, she’s falling into the same trap that a lot of people fall into when dealing with people who have endured massive trauma, and that’s she’s insistent on the idea that normalcy can resume or be regained. She still thinks that she can get Jinx back to normal and be Powder again, and the two of them can go back to the way things were, which is impossible. I’m watching these episodes saying. “Your sister Powder, gone she is. Consumed by Jinx.” If circumstances were more serendipitous for both of them, I could see Vi being successful in talking down Jinx and convince her to let go of her hatred, her anger, but I don’t see any scenario that ends with Jinx being her old Powder self ever again. The relationship of Silco and Jinx is quite fascinating, particularly as it does seem like Silco has genuine affection and care for Jinx, and the feeling appears to be mutual. How healthy the relationship is, is a separate question. I figured Ekko would be a character that you’d quite enjoy. He is right next to the edge of the bridge and would likely have enough time to jump over and miss the worst of the explosion, so I’d say that it’s highly probable that he’s still alive. The moments in your post-episode thoughts where you discuss how being alone and thus the negative thoughts can sometimes fester was highly relatable to me. I would add that sometimes even if you’re not physically alone, you can still be mentally alone and/or isolated mentally from the people you are with, and speaking from experience, those voices in my head spend a significant amount of time screaming at me, even when I’m with people that I love, trust, and/or am emotionally safe and/or comfortable with. Occasionally, those same voices merely whisper, depending on the day or if they’re simply feeling like being magnanimous. Thankfully, I never remember my dreams as I would imagine the voices and traumas likely have many a field day in my dreams. I would suspect that in your post-episode thoughts for the next two episodes, you will be quite loquacious and insightful, and I am very much looking forward to it. You make the observation that this show will destroy you, which is quite likely. The unfortunate thing is if it does, you’ll likely have put yourself back together again only just long enough for Clone Wars to step in and destroy you just as bad, possibly worse.

I am loving your reactions to this show so much, and especially your post episode thoughts. I would recommend that you watch the music video for "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons. It will give you some more context regarding the relationship between Ekko and Jinx and is really well made.

I definitely agree that even if Vi or anyone (but probably more than likely Vi) would be able to talk Jinx down, that absolutely does not mean she can revert right back to Powder. I think Vi probably spent a large amount of time in prison envisioning trying to get back to Powder and to see who her little sister has become, she might almost need to grieve in a way and get to the point of acceptance that her sister has changed. As I say quite often on my channel, it's very hard to help others if you don't help yourself through what you're going through first.
