A comment I've heard/read often is that Vi is more like a mother to Powder than a sister. And in my opinion that is kinda true, if you look at their interactions so far. Vi's statement to Vander in E2 especially is something you'd usually expect a parent to say.

A few questions answered: The woman enforcer was Grace The man enforcer was Marcus Vi was taken by Marcus using Cloroform, you can see her falling anconsious/vision fading in the scene

Yeah, it kind of has a similar vibe to the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan in Star Wars. They’re very much like brothers, but Obi-Wan often tries to act like he’s Anakin’s father and behave in a more parental manner, even though it’s a role that Obi-Wan is not the best suited for. I agree that Vi and Powder have a similar dynamic.
