Darn! Just lost my comment! I can't be bothered to remember everything I said, but gist of it was that this episode didn't really land with me first time either, but has got better on re-watches. This episode is one big inside joke. Non stop references (The lead taking polaroids is something Jensen does), character McG (SPN exec producer and also director of Charlie's Angels), SPN stills and props from previous episodes, notes from the studio being genuine ones that SPN received. But like you say, it's nice also to have one that's quite light-hearted, with Dean for once living his best life as a PA, being part of something. Sam can do empathy, but Dean can do charm. Here he turns up the wattage to get the info they need, but he also is genuinely sweet. And I love the deliberate 'hero shot' when Dean blasts the ghost away, rescuing the director from the ghost who was about to throw him into the fan. Standing there, shotgun in hand, shirt still blowing in the wind of the fan. LOL! Have a great Xmas and New Year.

Heheh. Dean's Best Life TM : Having someone tell him what to do, yiiii. Also, this is a p damn awesome episode to rewatch with you cos it can be forgettable even after watching the series several times. Enjoy your time off and the holidays! Excited for the ending of the series.
