My big question is are you at all familiar with Murder on the Orient Express already? Without any spoilers, all I can say is that I had the tremendous good fortune to read the book before I knew the ending, despite it having become one of the most iconic solutions in all detective fiction, and seeing someone else get to have that experience would be incredible.

I completely agree. I saw it in the cinema with my daughter (who isn't particularly a Whodunnit fan) - and she loved the resolution!

That, or the earlier (and also great) film adaptation from 1974, with a similar knockout cast including Albert Finney, John Gielgud, Sean Connery, Ingrid Bergman, and Lauren Bacall. It also has the distinction of being the only Agatha Christie adaptation that Christie herself actually approved of.
