I'm very glad you enjoyed this, and I very much enjoyed your reaction! On a technical note, for some reason streaming it got to 46'45", stopped with a circle of death and could be persuaded to go no further, even after reloading the page, etc. So I downloaded it to watch the rest. But I'm sure it was probably just a one-off issue.

This series was written by Neil Gaiman, who you'll probably know best for writing two Doctor Who episodes, The Doctor's Wife and Nightmare in Silver. He also co-wrote the original novel with Terry Pratchett, back when they were both early in their careers, and it still doesn't seem quite real that such a perfect match-up could actually happen. Sadly, Pratchett died a few years ago so Gaiman was left to adapt the book on his own, and he's said he stuck much closer to it than he otherwise might have as he felt very uneasy changing his late friend's work.

So glad you enjoyed this Jess - as you've probably been told, it was a co-written by Neil Gaimen - it's one of the best of PTerry's books.
