The third part isn't processed yet but I am truly hoping it will be by the time you guys reach that part. Enjoy!

This film was released on the 50th anniversary of the franchise, and they learned well from the mistakes of the much-hated 40th anniversary film Die Another Day. That one was a mess of fanservice references in search of a plot, while here they made sure to come up with a good story first and then weave the fanservice bits into it more subtly. Adele's theme song also won the franchise's first ever Oscar, and she did it right after recovering from strained vocal chords that left her barely able to talk for months!

Love this movie so much, my favourite Bond film without a doubt. I know you may not be doing reactions to the other Brosnan and Craig movies, but i'd be interested in seeing reviews from you about them as they're all entertaining watches.

Suggestions for the next movie series: The Dollars Trilogy, The Omen Trilogy, The Unbreakable Trilogy. As for Skyfall: easily the best of Craig's era, as well as one of my top 5 for the franchise. Javier Bardem as Silva is among my top 10 villains of the franchise and Judi Dench gives a terrific performance for her final turn as M after a great 17 year run as the character. I love the fact that they got Ralph Fiennes to succeed her in the role as he is one of my favorite actors and him becoming M at the end really helped soften the blow of her departure.

I'd add Mad Max. Taken together they're such a fascinating view of the evolution of action films.

This movie is peak Bond for me, I love it soo much. It's a shame that the new one got so delayed but hopefully the wait is worth it

To answer a question you asked in Part 3 of the reaction (I've only just got around to watching): According to Ian Fleming,Bonds parents were Andrew Bond of Glencoe,Scotland;and Monique Delacroix,of Switzerland. They were both killed in a Swiss climbing accident when Bond was 12;and he was subsequently raised by his Aunt Charmian (his Father's sister). This is one of my favourite Bond films. It vie's for 3rd place with OHMSS. Goldfinger is #1,as it was the Bond movie from my childhood;Craig's Casino Royale is #2. Great reactions - loved them.
