Alrighty guys we are here to talk about The Night King. This is a more open ended discussion where I thought we could all discuss how we think this will all play out.

Winter is Here. The Night King is coming. I personally believe he will wrecking all sorts of havoc in the final season. However, I think we are going to get a bigger taste of him this season than ever before. I think there may be a battle. I wouldn't also mind seeing him more when he's not murdering every person he comes across......or raising a dead army in the most fabulous way ever.

One of the ways the show could end to me is Starks, Lannisters and Taragaryens banding together to try and survive this invasion of the White Walkers which means this season might have to establish a fear of the White Walkers. Not really to Jon or Tormund.....but to everyone else. Once we convince everyone there is a threat then it's time for a War. It would be interesting to see if the Night King would take out a major player within this season.

Nonetheless I'd like to hear your thoughts. Do you think we will see him a lot more this season? Will there be another battle? If he did take out someone major, who do you think it would be?

Also I just wanted to say this now that we're getting into prediction territory. If you are one of those people who look up spoilers, set photos, etc (trust me that was me once upon a time too) please don't write in these discussions things you know for a fact. I do not want my reactions tainted, I want to go in blind. Thanks Lovelies.

I think we will be seeing way more of the Nights King this season, yes...Based off the trailers we've gotten it sure looks like it's going to be epic as hell..I hope we get more info on his background and who he maybe is/was..I've always wondered if he belonged to one of the houses back in the day, and if so which? A theory I've had for awhile since "Hardhome" aired and we found out the Night's King can summon anyone/anything that died around him and make it his own.. My theory is that we will be seeing one of the 3 Dragons of Danaerys' falling in battle somehow(maybe by being slain by Jaime..one can dream) and that the Night's King will potentially be able to resurrect one of the Dragons as his own. I would loveee to see that happen and it'd be so epic.

2021-10-23 23:21:59 I am hoping and saying a 60% chance that we will get to see more of the Nights King this season and that we will get a motivation for him/them. I know how they/he started but clearly their makers do not want them doing what they are doing anymore, so why are they? Just a force turned on that cannot be stopped, or something more? I would like to think GRRM (and D&D) will not have them be just "bad guys".
