OMG - have you ever watched Eurovision? I only ask, because I think there might be a bit of a cultural disconnect unless you watch about 10-15 years worth of the entire 4 hour broadcast, take a brief course in the political history of Europe since WWII and some analgesics to help cope with the 'music' and the 'fashion' you'll experience. :-) I miss Terry Wogan's commentary on the EVSC.

I realized that Fringe might be better for livestream cuz that would make a very short video. But whichever wins, wins:)

I'm actually the one who suggested it, only because it seemed kind of mean to suggest watching the whole 4 hour show, especially since it would be the most recent one which wasn't nearly as good as last year's in terms of entertainment quality. Though I may be biased as I'm Swedish, I maintain that last year's hosts were the best ones ever (admittedly not a high bar to clear). Still, I think "Love Love, Peace Peace" would be entertaining to someone who hasn't watched Eurovision before, and it gives you a good introduction to the general insanity of the show.

I must admit I'm not familiar with Love Love Peace Peace. I am aware of 'Hard Rock Hallelulah' though. That would definitely gives insight in to how insane it can be. :-)

Jess - good introduction as to what Eurovision is all about from an episode of Last Week Tonight from last year - no spoilers about this year's contest, but it might give you an brief idea of how political/insane Eurovision is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We1IvUe6KLo BTW - last years contest was won by the Ukrainians with a song called 1944 which was specifically about Stalin annexing their country during WW2.

Well if you haven't watched Love Love Peace Peace yet I recommend you give it a watch. It's all the insanity of multiple Eurovision contestants melted down into one big crazy performance. And Lordi (the band behind Hard Roch Hallelujah) make a brief appearance.
