Some bane dragons want to cause havoc and destruction, others want to be left alone for their long lives. Darcy chose to use her time to build. 

Starting in disguise, building a small town out of mud bricks, then stones, then concrete. Decades went by and each time her old disguise would be too old she'd craft another persona, leading the town until it became a bustling city then to a metropolis. With how dangerous Merra could be she started early to peddle things to keep those in her city safe, things to prevent and reverse many of the monstrous fates the creatures could bring. Now she sits in an office atop the largest skyscraper of her city, Bardesh, running her company in disguise while running the entire city behind the scenes.
