This is a basic three point lighting setup that I use as the basis for all the lighting in my projects.

Instructions:

-Drag and drop 'basic lighting setups.blend' into your project

-Append

-Collection

-append 'lighting setup'

-Choose one of the three collections to use

-Make sure to turn off the 'outside' collection if you are using an indoor scene.

Extra notes:

-This is just a basic three point lighting setup. You can look up tutorials on youtube for traditional three point lighting for a better explanation.

-Outside lighting is two suns that I use to light most of my outside scenes. I usually don't use it unless I need to light up the outside environment as well.

-One sun is rotated slighting different.

-One sun is a lower angle for harsher shadows and the other sun is angled higher for softer shadows.

-You can turn off the extra face light, I use that for the model's face, so your render will be different than the sample render.

-Adjust/Add/Remove lights to your liking, this is just for a starting point for lighting if you are completely lost.
