how long does it normally take for hsr to be subbed? i think i remember in the past people telling me only like 2 episodes of a season was subbed and then it just stopped?

Ayyy! I saw Jay park tweet about it and he said he’s telling the staff to include Eng subs so I’m not entirely sure. If Mnet actually listens to him it’ll probably take a few days

The clips on YouTube should be subbed bc of the above, but it really just depends if there’s a team interested. If they’re really dedicated, it’ll be like a couple weeks behind if not it’ll be months dude

I saw on Twitter there's a fansub group who has a team put together ready to sub this season. I don't know what their turnaround time will be though.I'm hoping it will be better though cuz if I recall correctly the person doing HSR2 was just one individual so having a team should help.

the team doing the subs for highschool rapper this season is the same that did smtm9 so pretty fast like a week or less i assume

Smtm took a few days or a week and a half in the end of the season. i would suggest you start to watch it 2 weeks after it started and then once every week or so and then it might be all good. Compared to previous season this has been hyped like crazy and since h1gher and aomg people are the mentors i think the subbers will be quite quick. Smtm first few weeks had subs around wednesdays and then later on it was usually finished in 8-9 days. I am on a kkh discord and one of the subbers said it took around 4 h to translate their part that was like 15 min or something then they have timers and editors. They are not really getting paid for their work besides if they get donations so they have work and school aswell to deal with so it all depends.

the subs are gonna come out kinda fast i think, for show me the money 9, by the time ep 2 came out, ep 1 was already subbed, and the same team is gonna do hsr4!
