Making 3D VR videos with sfmvr_stitch is really nice, because it's fast and it only needs 2 renders. On the other side, the negative parts are the field of view limit to 175° and the pixelated area above 135° fov. That's why a method to make 360° 3D videos with SFM was needed!

With 360° 3D video I could finally make some doggystyle and standing blowjob animations without having to point the camera to the ground. Giving an even more realistic immersion in the 3D VR CGI world of porn... eh, I mean SFM.

The finished build of the Mirror Club Bar was a good map for a first attempt. So I added models, animated them a bit and positioned them all around the camera till SFM got unstable. Finally, after days of experimenting with the camera, rendering and editing the frames, I'm proud to present to you my first panoramic 3D video made with SFM!

This video is a combination of my first attempt with 6 cameras and the second one with 8 cameras. While looking down and rotating the head, the view gets distorted and the junction of the top and bottom frames don't fit the side and back frames perfectly. I corrected the top frames a bit, still not perfect, and while adjusting the frames I realized it needs more cameras to get a better result. Actually I'm experimenting with 12 cameras. The 3D 360° video is still pretty nice for looking around and down front, so I decided to release it anyway.

Since the animation was rendered in 4k, I made 5 videos with different resolution. Usually the 2880x2880@60fps video works well with most new devices. If you have powerful hardware, you can try a video with a higher resolution to get an antialiasing effect due to the downscaling. And if something is wrong with the playback of the video, take a lower resolution video. If you have an old Note4 like me, take the 2180x2180@60fps video. It was the only one I could watch on my GearVR without getting stills and the Smartphone overheating too fast, but I'm very happy how it looks and I think it was worth the effort.

Big thanks to HyperchaotixFox Logan McCloud for the great tutorial on how to make panoramic videos with SFM.

It's kinda not really working on my phone, i just see a frozen image or nothing. What player do you guys using?

Fantasysfm

It's the video that has a very high bitrate and needs powerful hardware for playback. I'll make a 180° version with repositioned models, enhanced animations and materials.
