((B/N)'s POV)

The crowd should have been cheering from an amazing fight, but all we had were slimes and small goblins with no weapons and tiny muscles, so they were weak. This team finished it too quickly and the crowd hated that, so they did one-on-one matches that I could not join. It's all because Vita killed my monster before she was fired and Mother left with Father's slave, so now he was trying to bring back all 3 of them to put Vita in the dungeon for being a traitor. All of this is because of (Y/N)! When the fights started I went to my training area and just wanted to break things, but when I got there, I saw everything was cut into pieces and Father looked furious.

<figure></figure>

I heard him send out lots of guards and hired adventurers to go look for her earlier. When he saw me he didn't say anything a first until he walked up to me.

Father-Do you know why the fight did not got as planned?

(B/N)-Yeah! Vita killed my monster!

Father-Because she wanted to go be with (Y/N), my slave ran away to go be with him, and so did your mother... Remember when I sent you out to bring him back, but instead you lost the priestess to him? A SS-rank priestess I might add.'

(B/N)-It was his fault and nobody would listen to me!

Faher-Do you also know how serious is that your mother left because of him? Her skills were vital to this kingdom. Did you know that?

(B/N)-... No. What does Mother do?

Father-That will be a talk for another time, but we need her back here 'now', so I sent... less than official works to take care of him. That being said, I am doubling the difficulty of your training and having you acquire a few tools to boost your performance.

When he said tools, I think he was talking about magic tools and I thought I was going to get a magic sword or something.

Father-When you're ready for the field, nobody will dare question your power.

I smiled and got excited. When everyone sees how strong I am, they will forget all about (Y/N)!

(Aurora's POV)

Vita wanted to stop in the town to get food and such before we go see my son since she got the location this morning. She said it was an address to somewhere in the woods. Celia's brand of a slave was broken, by her skill to disrupt magic, so nobody bothered us while we were shopping. I just had to be covered up a little more so nobody saw me as the queen. I wanted to find a gift for my baby when we go see him, but I had no idea what to give him. I thought a magic and weapons shop would have something useful, so the three of us went inside.

Aurora-Ohhh, what do I get him? I can't mess this up.

Vita-If I may, your hi-. Au-Aurora. He is an archer, but likely has an arsenal with his team, so why not try magical amulets to boost defense or attack power or something of the sort?

She took me to the amulets and they were necklaces or bracelets. When she went back to look for a new sword and Celia had no idea what to get for herself, I tried to find a perfect amulet for my baby. That's when the shopkeeper came up with a smile to me.

Shopkeeper-Good morning, ma'am. Is there anything I could help you with? ~

Aurora-I'm looking for the perfect amulet for my son... He's an archer and it's an apology gift.

Shopkeeper-Oh, so this must be very important to you. ~

Aurora-Very. Is there one that you would recommend?

Shopkeeper-Well, that depends on what you are after. But I do have 3 top-tier amulets that are pricey.

I was in many deals with merchants by my ex-husband for the kingdom before... I activated my 'Persuasion' skill and took off my hood before I took out my bag of gold coins. He took out only one amulet and I wonder why he didn't bring out the other two.

Shopkeeper-This amulet keeps monsters ranked B and below at bay, but not boss monsters. An archer would love this on their missions and quests.

Aurora-But... this can't be top tier.

Shopkeeper-I assure you it is.

Aurora-But what about A and above?

Shopkeeper-Could slow them down a bit, but will not stop them.

Ok, Calvin was a bad husband, but he should be liars who wants to sell things. Just stay calm and trust your skills. I just need to do the talking this time.

Aurora-What about the other 2?

Shopkeeper-Same thing... Now, this will be... 30 gold.

That sounded like a fair deal, but my ex-husband wants to lower it. My skill just needs time to slowly work.

Aurora-How about... 3 Gold?

(Celia's POV)

What kind of fighter can I be with only magic disruption and appraisal? I haven't really used them in a long time too, so I am out of practice. Maybe a magic staff?... I don't know much magic and I don't have time to learn. The only kind of pain I don't like is a headache and all of this thinking is giving me one. When I got to where Aurora was I saw an amulet they were talking over and...

<figure></figure>

Celia-Hey!

They both looked over to me and I saw Aurora was going to use 3 gold to pay for this thing when it was only worth a few copper coins at best.

Shopkeeper-Is there a problem, ma'am?

Celia-That thing is not worth gold or silver. It's only good for minor insects at its level.

Aurora-But he said it was top-tier.

Shopkeeper-It is. What does she know?

Aurora-That's not a magic stone. It's a rock with a spell carved into it, so it's very low.

He perked up and looked nervous and I don't have a skill for this, but I know the look of a liar that's been caught. Only this time, I'm not blinded by the sweet sting of pain.

Celia-Magic stones should also be stronger based on their grade of it. Master-. I-I mean a man... told me and showed me during... special lessons.

Shopkeeper-... Huh?

I felt myself blushing with both of them looking at me, so I just picked up the fake amulet and smashed it to the ground. He got mad and Aurora took back her gold.

Celia-Fake... I tried to tell you.

Shopkeeper-Do you know how much that cost me?!

Vita-About as much for this?

We all turned to see Vita with a sword and when she swung it really hard the blade came off to show that it was in horrible quality. That sword was hollow on the inside and the leather might be good on the handle, but that was it. Now, we all looked at him.

<figure></figure>

Vita-50 gold for this poor excuse?... We'll be taking our business elsewhere.

We all left and he tried to stop us by saying he had the good stuff in the bad, but that was most likely another lie. When we got outside Vita looked annoyed and Aurora was sad that she came out without a gift.

Vita-I can't believe we were almost scammed... How did you know the amulet was a fake?

Celia-Um... I have an appraisal skill. I just never really used it much since the church checks that stuff for skills and stuff. That and nobody would listen to a slave as much, so I kept it under wraps.

Vita-Well if you can tell good items from bad ones then we need you for getting good gear. Where's a good store?

((Y/N)'s POV)

This mission would be so much if Zahara could just burn the nest, but we need the webs for my bow and fire doesn't work as well on them, so it would be more dangerous for a while before they die. It took me a bit to think of this strategy, but it was working as long as nobody messed up their part which would be very easy to do. These spiders may have the name of God Killers or Fefnir like Luna, but they are still spiders. Shake the web and they follow the vibration and are alerted, so we need to catch them by surprise. First, we need a number of how much S-rank Fefnir spiders are going to be in that cave, so Luna was sniffing it out from our hiding spot.

Luna-*Deep sniff* *sniff* *sniff*... Around 8 of them.

(Y/N)-OK, so here is the plan. Lillian, I want to use your buffing magic to make my fire arrow more explosive for me to shoot it into the cave. Amara, you used an impact arrow at the top of the entrance of the cave to close them after.

Amara-Fire won't be as effective and it will burn the thread. We need it.

(Y/N)-They have thread inside of them. They will get out anyway, but the smoke from the fire will confuse them for a little bit, before they come outside, Grace will make ice to cover the ground to make it slippery and harder to move, so they will try to jump or move slower. The spot where the webs come out is what we aim for when they jump, and Luna will howl at the spiders on the ice to push them back. The goal is to force them to jump and be open to attack. We just need to be ready to move and watch out for any webs they shoot. As for Chelsie... I want you to burn food and throw it out there. The smell confuses them too.

Hamah-What about Hamah? Want to help too since Zahara is not coming.

(Y/N)-If they get too close... Smash.

Dantalia would be useful to make the spiders come out and line up to be killed, but I have her watching Zahara with the promise if she does not have her panic from spiders and burn everything down... I'll be her 'plaything' until tomorrow morning. After that, I need to find out who gets the next turn somehow that is fair... Also, I feel like if she does more on this mission, she will feel like I owe her more and make me think like a baby like she told me in her mind... My mind?... Focus!

(Y/N)-Everyone ready? Any questions?

Everyone looked ready and Lillian gave me the buffed-up fire arrow and Amara got ready after me... I fired the arrow and before it could go off in the cave, Amara sealed the entrance with rocks from her arrow and Grace did her part. The two explosions meant there was no turning back. The Fefnir spiders burst out and they were huge like Luna in her wolf form!

<figure></figure>

(Y/N)-NOW!!!

My plan was sort of working, but the spiders only slipped for a little bit until their legs pierced the ice, so that was one part of this plan ruined. I thought fast though!

(Y/N)-Grace, Ice Spikes. Lillian, boost her!

A spider was already in front of us in the blink of an eye. I thought we were going to die until Hamah's Impact magic hammer came into view.

*SMASH*

Spider-*Screech*!

An ice spike pierced it and it curled up its legs to its belly to die. Burned food was through out onto the ice to confuse the other spiders still coming out even more which let me and Amara shoot them. My arrows weren't killing them, but Amara's were. I need a weak spot for mine... I spotted one in the air and shot an arrow into its hole to kill it from the pain. I thought we were going to pull this off... Then the spiders stopped attacking and we heard clapping behind us.

<figure></figure>

Dantalia-Splendid work team! I'm not even being sarcastic!

(Y/N)-Dantalia?! Where's Zahara?!

Dantalia-In dreamland where no bugs can get to her... Who's my smart little leader? ~

She was about to pick me up, but Chelsie got to me first.

<figure></figure>

Chelsie-You were supposed to make she she doesn't burn the forest down! If that happens we get in trouble!

Dantalia-Relax, Mama Bear... She's dreaming about playing with our little leader. Or her Master. ~

(Y/N)-W-We had this under control. Why did you come?

Dantalia-I got bored and with the 21 Fefnir Spiders coming after my new baby boy. I made a decision.

Luna-What? I sniffed out 8.

Dantalia-I'm counting eggs. Parents lay on top of them, so I can see why you didn't smell them.

We turned to see the spiders biting each other to die be their poison, so... at least we're safe and the quest is done... Oh no, the quest is done.

Dantalia-I'll let you all enjoy him while we collect the spider parts we need for proof, the tread Amara wants to weave for weapons, collect the money, and go home... I'll take Sleeping Beauty with me and meet you back at the cabin.

(Y/N)-No brainwashing!

Dantalia-Of course not... I already got my toy that promised to do everything without it. ~

I blushed super hard in Chelsie's arms before she left, waving bye to us. We got everything we wanted and got the eggs too for a bonus. By the time we made it back home, everyone had a chance to hold or walk with me while holding hands, and now comes the hard part.

<figure></figure>

(Y/N)'s mind-This is going to be a long day.

(Timeskip 3 Hours)

(Aurora's POV)

We made it out of the town with good gear and hopefully a good present. Celia was holding my hand while we walked beside Vita and she looked at her new sword and I looked at the dagger she thought he should in the first place. I looked up to Vita when she put her hand on my head like I was a child... She was much taller than me.

<figure></figure>

Vita-It will be rough at first and don't expect total forgiveness from him or yourself right out of the gate. But this should be fine.

Just then a gust of wind blew past us and flowers rained down from the trees. To think we would find my son this fast and he settled down in a house to stay in one place when I leave to look for him... I always have been the lucky one in the family because of my 'Luck' skill...

Aurora's mind-So why was I cursed with a cruel liar of a husband and my children hate each other?

In time we finally made it to the house, but I saw someone outside that I recognized first and she saw us.

<figure></figure>

Aurora-Princess Grace?
