((Y/N)'s POV)

I woke up with the memories from last night in my head. Luna came back to the room and immediately wanted me to get into bed and drink something while cuddling her. It tasted weird and she would not let anyone join, especially Amara and Hamah, but I told her that Amara was my teacher and Hamah saved me... She didn't care and would not let the others join either for a while... I told everyone that they should be treated fairly, but she said there was no more room on the bed. Hamah would not fit anyway and Amara said that she did not want to share a bed with so many people. When I woke up this morning, I felt fine, so I wondered what that potion did. If anything I just felt more calm or maybe it's because of what happened in the forest and that bath.

(Y/N)'s mind-I think I had enough space... It feels kind of nice now.

Breakfast felt relaxing again and after a good meal, I wanted to go grab a job to do... Zahara wanted to play, but I told her no transforming unless I said so. Hamah would not leave the group and go back to her tribe saying "I need to be watched". So Amara and Hamah need to get signed up into the guild and in our party before we do anything... At sign-ups...

Amara-You will find my skills to be recognized as SS-rank amount the Elf Kingdoms.

She showed them a card, but she still had to be tested which made her do a double backflip and she shot 6 arrows in the air to hit the heads of each mounted animal which left a lot of people speechless. Just then she held up her hand to snap her fingers showing that she timed the arrows going off with wind magic to cut the heads into pieces.

Amara-Need I show more?

Man-Umm... No.

Amara-Thought so.

She gave them her old card to be ranked SS-rank right away, but I only thought if she could teach me that move. Next up was Hamah, so she stepped into the ring with an A-rank adventurer. They both used hammers, but when the guy swung at her, she didn't go for him, but brought her bigger hammer up to guard and they smashed it. She grabbed them and threw them out of the ring and against the wall. The small crater she left in the ring scared people, but I saw her do stronger attacks. Towering over everyone made it scary enough for others, but they wanted to do a test of strength. She had to give her hammer to be examined while we waited in the guild... After that, she was granted S-Rank.

Zahara-Master, I wanna go play!

(Y/N)-Well.. Let's grab a job... How about the wyvern nest? It's B-rank.

She looked excited to play and Grace leaned closer into me for protection. Just as we were about to take the mission and leave... Guards came in and were heading for the counter and they had the crest of my family. I quickly hid behind Chelsie and Grace and behind Zahara. They went to the counter and Chelsie pulled me with her.

(Y/N)-Move! *whisper yell*

The girls got Grace and me out of there to keep us from going home. That has to be why they are here. Zahara and Hamah looked confused by this, but I can tell them later... Well, I'll have to tell Zahara again. When we got outside... there were more guards and others that looked like they were hired.

Guard#1-The prince and princess!

Luna-*Growl*.

The girls got ready to fight, except for Grace and I. I never fought or even shot at a real person before. I don't want to do it now, so I ran in front of the girls to try and stop them, but none of them put their weapons down... I was more scared of Luna and Zahara getting mad while fighting.

(Y/N)-Wait, girls don't! Chelsie, they are from the castle!

Chelsie-I know!

Warrior-Release the prince and princess at once!

Chelsie-(Y/N), get over here!

Everyone was about to fight until a bright, yet soft light shined over us. I looked to where it was coming from and saw a lady that looked like she was from a church... A priestess.

She looked at her team and everyone was calming down except for Luna and Zahara, but after everyone put their weapons down... We all felt calmer. She walked in the middle of us and gently held her staff, walked gracefully, and the way she gives off an energy made it more relaxing.

???-Don't forget why we are here. Causing a fight will put others in danger... My name is Lillian and we were tasked with returning Prince (Y/N) back home. His mother, father, brother, and staff miss him so much.

Her voice even sounded so soft and pretty. Her light went away, so her spell must be down, but the energy around her was the same. Zahara just picked me up from behind to hold me tight while looking sad and upset.

Zahara-No, he's my master and Master is the leader of the party!

Warrior-He is the prince and he is coming back with us!

Amara-You will keep your filthy hands off of him.

Everyone was about to fight again, but Lillian did another calming light spell... It didn't work so well this time because Luna and Zahara were not affected. Just as Luna was about to do something that would make this very bad, I jumped out of Zahara's arms and ran to her to trap her in a hug.

(Y/N)-Luna... Wait. We can talk about this.

Luna-'We're' not doing anything. They decide what happens next.

Lillian looked confused that her spell was not working, so I did the only thing I thought could calm Luna down, make the others happy, and have the guards agree to 'just' talk.

(Timeskip 10 Minutes)

(Lillian's POV)

Prince (Y/N) drew lines in the dirt somewhere more remote and out of town. I was here with 4 other guards and the rule was that nobody can cross the line in any way shape or form. He also gave himself to his team to protect him from us however they saw fit. Tensions were high, but another rule was no weapons allowed, so we left them at the guild. I still had my staff since I needed to calm 'Soothing Light' again if needed.

(Y/N)-Ok, do you think we can talk now?

I admire his attempt to keep peace, but we simply can't leave without him, so I will appeal to his family missing him.

Chelsie-Yes... Now, I am the head maid of the family, so he is already escorted.

Paladin-Kidnapping the prince is a case of treason!

Chelsie-I didn't kidnap him! He ran away all on his own! 'I' accompanied him.

I used my 'Judgment' skill and felt that she was telling the truth. At least to an extent since I can really feel most of the truth. Bits of lies often slip past, so we still need to be careful sometimes.

Lillian-But his family is worried about him and keeping a child in a guild does seem a little reckless.

Grace-Well... He's doing just fine and he even saved me.

(Y/N) looked a little flustered by that comment and I could see he was almost the opposite of his brother. The conversation went on and a few guards tried to assert their authority on behalf of the king and cross the line, but I stopped them. If they do that they will eliminate any chance of resolving this peacefully. After thirty minutes, nobody is particularly happy with this compromise, so I say it was a good one... Mostly because we need to get back to (B/N).

Chelsie-Then it's settled. We stay in town for now and join you at the hotel tonight.

Luna-In separate rooms.

Lillian-Then we let you go about your adventures, but if any harm comes to the prince or princess then we get them back home. Then tonight we will see how things operate and go from there.

(Y/N) looked the most relieved, but I still felt worried for him because now they were going out to fight a wyvern nest. Their ranks are high, with exceptions for the children, but we even have trouble with (B/N). They left and I looked at Hamah since she was the biggest out of everyone and was gentle in handling the prince during the talk when they passed him around.

Lillian's mind-I may not agree with the methods, but they truly do care for him... I just want what's best for him and so do his parents... I'll keep this a surprise for (B/N) by telling him there will be a special guest joining us tonight.

I smiled at my thoughts and prayed they would see what was best for him and his safety... On the other hand, (B/N) will finally see his brother is safe.

((Y/N)'s POV)

During the mission, Amara wanted me to try and shoot a little faster with my new glave making it easier on my fingers. It was still a little harder to pull back enough to make an effective shot. When my arms got turned and everyone was still good enough to fight after sending me while I shot and Grace practiced more of her magic, they went out to finish the nest. Zahara ran to the nest like it was a playground and the others took care of the stragglers while Grace and I rested.

Amara-Excellent work today, (Y/N), but we must take care of this reload speed problem as much as we can. Your body will develop, but for homework, I will give you a number of targets to hit in a short time. It will depend on how much and were.

(Y/N)-Ok... My arm feels a little sore.

Amara-That shows you have put in effort.

She never stopped firing and was going pretty fast. Even when shooting multiple arrows at a time, she was getting so many in the air... I wanted to be that fast too. I then noticed the nest be engulfed in white firing and when the roars got quiet, we heard something... Zahara came out smiling and laughing.

Hamah walked up to a cliff wall and swung her hammer and circles a few times before yelling, hitting the cliff wall... it blew a hole almost clean through. All she did was wipe the sweat off of her head. We all looked in awe, but Zahara ran up and put her hands on the end of the hammer before standing in front of her.

Zahara-Try and hit me now!

Hamah-Hamah does want to hit a new friend!

They argued a bit, but I thought about tonight and was nervous because if I didn't prove myself and go back now, they are going to be super mad for running away.

(Y/N)'s mind-... Come on, I'm with adults here. Zahara and Hamah can be questionable, but Chelsie, Amara, and Luna are mature... 3 out of 5 is not bad. Plus, I'm a C-rank already.

Just then Hamah came up to hold me like a baby in one arm when we collected what Zahara didn't burn into nothing and headed back to the guild for another job... Amara wants me to shoot arrows until I can't anymore.

(Timeskip To Night)

((B/N)'s POV)

Training today was great at first, but then we did those stupid matches with that cheater of a warrior. We finished off with stronger dummies and they went down in one blow. Lillian said she even had a special surprise for me tonight and wondered if she thought about my being with the future king. We were in the hotel dining area and had a couple of tables reserved. I was with Lillian right now, just leaning back into my big chair like a big shot as she sat next to me.

(B/N)-So, what's the surprise? ~

Lillian-It should be here soon.

I was confused now, but thought it would be something awesome like rare SSS-rank food or a weapon. More of the guards started to come in for mealtime, but no sign of anything like a gift. She had something whispered into her ear before she smiled.

Lillian-We will be fine here. I will handle the talking. Just enjoy the food.

(B/N)-Huh?... Is my father and mother here?

Lillian-No, but our special guests will be here soon.

I kept on waiting and wondering who it was, but then I saw 2 people come in and this has to be one of the worst surprises ever.

I can't believe that she was still with him after how she looks, but he can have a maid. I'm getting married to a princess, so I can rub it in his face. They sat at the table with us and Lillian smiled at me.

Lillian-Look who we found!

Chelsie-Nice of you to have us for dinner.

The girls talked with each other and I gave (Y/N) a smug smile while motioning to Lillian. Soon, someone else walked it and... GRACE?!?!?!

She looked around for us and then ran to our table and I felt so happy that she was running to me. This was going to crush (Y/N) again, now that I can show him 2 members of my harem.

Grace-(Y/N)!

(B/N)-... What?

She grabbed a chair next to him on the side of the table when there was a chair closer to me. They both talked to each other like they were friends and this made me mad because no future wife of mine was going to be talking to the trash of the family like an equal!

She was about to get up, but Chelsie snapped her fingers and pointed down at her, so she sat back down... Even the adults only made it around her waist!

They acted like they swapped bodies! Luna even had a seductive walk to her chair! She finally gave me a glance to as hi by waving a little... It's clear what I have to do...
