((Y/N)'s POV)

I woke up to a beeping noise and a voice from the speakers in this airport that made Mommy get up. It was still night outside... Or at least I thought it was before the sun started to come up. She put me down on the ground and I yawned while stretching a little with the light stinging my eyes. Mommy even looked a little hurt when she stretched her back and it even popped. She just looked down at me and took her suitcase, gave me mine before she took my hand. We started walking to the doors of this place to get on a plane. We just got in line and Mommy was tapping her foot while waiting to give her tickets to the man at the counter. It took a while to get on the plane and when we did I saw some new people that looked different than the people I see... It's better than having gems right now. We got in our seats and Mommy put me next to a window and gave me a jacket to use as a blanket.

(M/N)-You can go back to sleep, Honey. It's gonna be a long flight.

I just curled up in my seat, but I was wide awake now, so I just looked out the window until we were able to take off.

*Thud*

(Y/N)-Huh?

...

I didn't hear anything else now, so maybe it was in my head from when I was with the gems, or it was the plane making noise. I had never been on a plane before... The gems can get pretty big with fusion though...

(Y/N)-M-Mommy, is Daddy going to be ok?

Mommy-Daddy is going to be fine. He's just a distraction for them and he's staying off the grid.

(Y/N)-...

Mommy-Even 'if' they find him, they will see you are not there and we are long gone. Everything is going to be fine. I promise.

Speaker-Attention everyone, this is your captain speaking. We ask that you turn off all phones and electronic devices at this time as we prepare for takeoff.

Mommy-See? We're leaving now and no gem in sight.

I looked out the window to look around for what made that sound... It looks like a wooden crate fell over. It didn't take too long for the plane to take off and we were moving fast.

*BOOM*

I didn't see anything, but an orange glow before the plane took off, and it the plane felt a little more shaky than when it was moving. I was getting scared while others were talking and when we got up in the air Mommy just held me close. I thought at any moment the gems were going to fuse together to make Alexandrite or maybe it's Lapis or Peridot. Lapis could fly up here and cut the plane open... Any minute now... Any second... Any... second... now... We just kept on flying.

Man-What do you think that was?

Woman-Maybe a gas pipe or cart blew or something.

Mommy just looked at me and rubbed my head.

Mommy-Just a little explosion, Sweetie. We're fine.

She held me a little tighter and I tried to relax... They couldn't find me that quickly, right?

(Woman's POV)

*Slice*

My boss just got cut in half, so I headed behind the counter while security did their job, but when the gunshots came, I started crying. Most of them stopped when the sound of a clean cut pierced the air for a moment, followed by screaming. Suddenly, I was grabbed and pulled up from my hiding spot. I expected to see a gun or knife pointed at me, but... it was a spear. There was someone else with the lady too.

I held my hands up as tears fell from my face. All she did was shove me down to my desk and held me back by my hair.

Woman-*Sobbing*!

She stabbed her spear through the desk and almost hit my leg.

Woman-B-But... I-I don't have access to-!

She held a new spear up to my neck which made me stop talking and she pulled out a picture of a family, but the green lady pointed to a little boy.

Woman-I-I don't know! I don't know I swear! I only take tickets to flights to interact with people! Th-That's it I swear!

The lady with a spear held her spear up to my neck and cut me a little.

???-You better think really hard or we're going to find someone else.

I couldn't recall a thing... Is this it?... Am I going to die?... My life started to flash before my eyes and when I looked at the picture again... A boy with that hoodie... His hair was messy and...

Woman-W-WAIT, HE'S WITH HIS MOTHER?!?!?! THEY GOT ON A PLANE!!! I SAW THEM HEAD TO A LINE I WASN'T WORKING!!!

???-Where?

Woman-I-I didn't see which one exactly, but that place had 2 flights scheduled! T-T-Tooo... NORTH KOREA OR ITALY!!!

???-Is that it?

Woman-Pl-Please, I told you all I know! I won't say a word to the police, I swear! J-Just let me go! *SOBBING*

I started to fully cry and she just dropped me to the ground before they both walked away. I curled up under the table to hide again when I heard the last of the gunshots stop. It took me a moment to register what I just did... I just sold out a mother and her child.

Woman's mind-I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!

(Timeskip 2 Days)

((M/N)'s POV)

My son and I were helping out with housework to make up for staying here, but my friend was really nice. She lived out in the countryside and she wasn't uptight and like a soldier like my son thought she might be like. She just worked at a bakery, did gardening for a hobby, loved action/romance movies, and was overall... sweet, but feisty. Hasn't really changed that much after all this time.

(M/N)-Thanks again for letting us stay, Clare.

Clare-No problem... Say, what happened again? Last I heard you were getting a house by the beach and... a tsunami came.

(M/N)-Yeah, why?

Clare-Then why come all the way here? Didn't you have people closer?

(M/N)-Um... Family reasons.

She held her hands up to show she gave up and when we finished the last of the chores.

Clare-I know this beautiful trail in the mountains and there's something beautiful out there that's a wonder around here.

(M/N)-We're not breaking into anywhere!

Clare-No, I'm telling you! nobody knows how it got there, but it was there for so long everyone's forgotten about it. It's not protected by the state or anything to put a fence there.

(M/N)-And it's nothing to get in trouble over. I'm a mother now, so I need to set an example for my son, Clare. We're not in high school anymore.

We went back and forth about this for a while until she pulled up a picture with people from around the area taking a picture next to a pink... structure with plants all over it.

(M/N)-... We find a 'legal' way in or we turn back.

(Lapis's POV)

I'm still looking around Italy and Lapis said we had to keep a low profile or we risk (Y/N) running away or trying to hide on purpose... HE WAS ALREADY HIDING!!! The gems should be in the other place by now searching for (Y/N), but searching a planet for one specific little boy is going to take forever. If we were doing this my way, it'll be like this. It moves and it's not my Little Funnel Cake, it does. Plain and simple.

Peridot-Can you fly any higher? I don't think they look like dots, yet.

Lapis-I can drop you.

Peridot-*Tch* You wouldn't. You need me to-. AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

*Crash*

She landed on a metal thing on the roof of a building. I'm surprised that she has not poofed by this, but she did just lay there completely dazed. I landed next to her.

(Garnet's POV)

One little boy in this entire vast place of North Korea. It makes my future vision almost useless from all the possibilities. Some of them even show that we do not find him. Amethyst just hung a man upside down by his feet with her whip and showed him a picture of (Y/N).

Amethyst-Ugh! I can't understand any of these people! So much for asking!

She dropped him and he ran off and we went back on this search that just keeps getting harder. We can't ask around by interrogating, we have too many outcomes, and even when we shapeshift into birds to check in the sky, that leaves inside buildings he might be in. Right now, Pearl was in the sky. We all had one plan for (M/N) when we find both of them... We get rid of her for good.

Garnet/Ruby/Saphire's mind-Where are you?

(Blue's POV)

Pearl was on watch while I grieved at the place where Pink was shattered. It's like the weight of this world was crushing me from all of the memories I have of her. I cried harder for a moment from that before I somewhat regained my composure.

Blue-Oh Pink... I... I miss you so much. If only they could understand... Pearl.

I turned to Pearl and she looked at me.

Blue-This is the planet where Peridot and Lapis should be. Is there any more word on their progress? Can you please check?

She bowed before she did a quick check, but she seemed taken aback.

Blue Pearl-We should have her location from here from her limb enhancers, but there is no signal. She must've left the planet to continue her next assignment... No report of her coming to drop a '(Y/N)' off.

((Y/N)'s POV)

We took a bus to a trail and it dropped us off at a mountain village. We even got snacks for the hike we were going to take somewhere. Right now, I am trying this thing called mochi and it was delicious. I have not seen the gems in 2 days since we got here, so there is no way they can find us now. Mommy said Daddy called last night, so he is fine too. I can just relax and be with Mommy and her friend sneaks me extra treats. I like her and the best part... I can feed myself again. Clare was going to show us something too and she said it was surrounded by a fence and forgotten about for so long by everyone... Mommy kept on saying no if there was not a clear way in, but I wanna see it.

(Y/N)'s mind-I was babied by fore for days. I deserve some adventure!

Clare-It's over there past those bushes.

(M/N)-Is there a gate?

(M/N)-No, Honey.

(Y/N)-Moooooom. What's the first that could happen? 'They' are not here and I was treated the way they treated me for a long time... Just a little adventure.

I grabbed my Mommy's arm and pulled on her a little while looking at her.

We went off the trail and soon I saw the fence Clare talked about. It said, "Keep out... Please". It was two separate signs and Clare climbed the fence first. Mommy had to help me up to get over the fence. When I got over Mommy and Clare started to have those long adult talks that take forever and were so boring... I just snuck off and went to go look for this building. It felt good to be by myself right now. I share a room with Mommy right now, but it's still better than being babied, captured, and stuffed in the middle of boobs to be held without hands.

(Y/N)-*Giggles* I'm going to be the first one there! ~ *whisper*

I kept on running until I started to hear... crying.

I only walked now until I made it to a bush and when I did, I saw a giant in a blue cloak. It was not a fusion I saw before, but if I knew anything... GEMS!!!

I didn't know I was still walking until I tripped and fell into a bush which made the crying stop.

That didn't sound like Pearl. I even heard her getting closer until I got myself out of the bush and tried to hide behind it, but she peeked over... That wasn't the Pearl I knew.

I wanted to run, but she picked me up and brought me to the giant. I was confused that they didn't call me by my name... Are they new gems? The giant turned to see me and Blue Pearl put me down... I was curious when I saw her fave, but the first thing I did was try to look for traces of Lapis... There were none.

She got a closer look at me and I saw tears were still coming out of her eyes... I felt kind of bad for her.

???-How curious. I'm impressed by humanity's ability to survive in the wild. What a 'strange' planet. Where else would a being as fragile as a human live while a being as powerful as a diamond parish? This is where it happened. Where she was broken.

She was pointing to the thing that Clare was talking about and I had no idea what she meant... Did a friend die or something? I guess if a gem were to break they would die.

???-You even look like you have not fully matured for a human. Very strange indeed.

I looked back to see the giant lady was still looking at me. I had to think of something to leave and quick.

I only nodded my head and tried to just walk away, but then I saw Blue Pearl holding something or letting it float in front of her... It was a picture of me.

I was suddenly picked up by her giant hand and held, but I tried to struggle.

((M/N)'s POV)

I heard my son crying for help, so Clare and I ran to save him from whatever made him scream. When we got out of the trees, I saw a giant woman holding him in one hand, and a second smaller blue woman next to her.

He only screamed, but she just smiled a little while looking at all of us.

???-I'm so glad I came one last time. Now, I have 2 extra humans to help her legacy move on. Though, I do need to file a complaint about the delivery of you, (Y/N).

She only looked at me for a moment and I just ran to her but the smaller blue lady lunged forward and grabbed me to hold me back.

???-Pearl, take the loud one to a cell in the ship for safe transport. I will take the quiet one.

She raised her hand up and that's when we saw a giant blue arm in the sky that must be a spaceship. I kept on yelling at her to give me my son the whole way while trying to fight. She had my son and Clare who was frozen in fear and my son only just whimpered and struggled.

???-Pearl, try to find a way to make the human more settled for the ride to the zoo. I will be making a call.

Blue Pearl-I have done so in advance. When humans misbehave, they have stern talking and a few sentences called 'timeouts' or 'spankings'.

???-Well... try not to damage her and I will take the quiet one to another cell.

(M/N)-YOU'RE NOT TAKING MY SON YOU PSYCHO!!!

We only went to the cells and they put me and my friend in separate cells, but she took my son with her. I tried to punch this light door, but it shocked me and the Blue Pearl just watched as I went to the ground wincing and holding my hand.

Blue Pearl-... Not a punishment I am aware of, but it will do.

(Blue's POV)

(Y/N) looked so much smaller than his photo, but what intrigued me was that he knows what it is like to never see someone again. I never thought a human could know such a feeling, but the loud one... Is about what I expect. It also says on his file that humans are very impressionable at times, so I don't think him being near her is a good idea. I put (Y/N) against my shoulder before we started flying. I thought he would enjoy being held against me while 'watching the stars dance' as humans might take it to be would be enjoyable... He only turned into me to make smaller noises, so I just made the call to the human zoo. It took a few moments for someone to answer and it was an Amethyst.

Amethyst-Oh! Hello, My Diamond.

Blue-Hello. Is Holly Blue getting ready for her replacement before she transfers?

Amethyst-She is showing another Holly Blue how to the human zoo right now, My Diamond.

Blue-Tell her that I will be there and I will brief her of her new job on the ship.

She bowed and I hung up and held (Y/N) in front of me... I saw he was crying like I do, so he must understand the pain I feel.
