((Y/N)'s POV)

I got in touch with Mommy earlier and gave the phone to Bayonetta and she said she and a couple of friends were going to watch me. She was going to give a possible number, but Mommy only thanked her and hung up. I guess Bayonetta didn't like how busy she was, but I asked who would be over tonight, but she wasn't sure. The last housemaid just left and Bayonetta and her friends will be here soon. We had food prepared for everyone like sandwich sliders, chips, drinks, and other fancy food next to some contact information I have to give to Bayonetta when she gets here. Until then, the doors stay locked and I will watch out for them from my room... That last part is for me and I wondered who was coming.

(Rosalina's POV)

Peach was coming along with me to help Babysit a fan whose father got attacked at the tournament. Bayonetta told us his mother was also negligent in not caring how many were coming over or asking further questions. I find it disturbing how she was not more firm with her son's safety. Tonight it was going to be me, Bayonetta, Samus, Rouge, Isabelle, Ankha, Blaze, Sally, Krystal, and Palutena. We were approaching the house on foot and this looked to be a very nice neighborhood away from the city.

Isabelle-All of these houses are huge.

Krystal-When I got saved from Dixie's party by Zelda... I was not expecting this.

Rouge-Won't have to be worried about being cramped into a small space with big numbers.

Blaze-How did you meet this child again?

Palutena-He somewhat stole an already stolen invite to fight after he left them a lot more money. He had Toad's place.

Sally-He what?!

Amy-He stole an invite!

Palutena-Yes and afterward we brought him back to... *sigh* His father's nightclub where he was staying, but his parents don't know about that, so try not to bring it up.

I was never told this story and we pushed this matter further while Bayonetta and Zelda we checking the addresses. We kept on going up this hill and reached the top. When we settled down Rouge got tired of walking before she took a look at the address and flew up to each house until she peeked over the hill and stayed there for a while. She even counted the houses for address numbers before she flew back over.

Ankha-Please tell me we are getting close.

Rouge-You might want to see what's over the hill.

We all rushed to follow her and when we could finally see over the hill, there was one house and I checked the address... It matched.

I've seen more beautiful sights in my time, but this caught me off guard that this is where we are to watch a child.

Rosalina-... Oh my.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I saw so many of them and was jumping up and down in my room beyond excited before I ran downstairs and checked everything. The guest bedrooms were all ready and we got a few extra in case more come. I waited for the doorbell to ring before I sped walked over to answer the door and saw everyone... I couldn't hide my smile while Bayonetta bent down to pick me up.

Bayonetta-Well hello there, Little One. May we come in? ~

I nodded my head yes to this and everyone came in and looked around the front door area before I pointed them to the living and dining room where the food and information was. I gave Baynoetta the paper I was supposed to give to her and it also had a second piece of paper with rules and stuff. She put me down to read it and I ran up to Palutena to give her a big hug around her legs.

Palutena-Oh! Awwww, it's nice to see you again as well. Why don't you meet the others? ~

(Y/N)-I know who everyone else is. Sally, Blaze, and Krystal are the only ones I haven't met in person, yet.

She picked me up and brought me over to them and even knelt down to put me in front of Blaze and Sally. I knew they were royalty, so I did my best to bow to them and they looked surprised by this.

(Y/N)-Your Majesties.

Sally-Oh, that won't be necessary.

Blaze-Please, the pleasure is ours to... I guess meet a fan. Not many in this world acknowledge our royal status.

(Y/N)-Oh, I know more! Like how Sally is a princess of the-.

Suddenly, Palutena put a finger over my lips, so I just waved them goodbye when she stood up and brought me over to Krystal. I know she's a princess too, so I did my best to bow in Palutena's arms again, but...

Krystal-Please don't go into details about me. I can tell you already know a lot.

She smiled at me and pet my head and her hands felt so fuzzy and soft. When I was put down again Bayonetta finished reading and held the bridge of her nose.

Bayonetta-Little One, did Mommy write this?

(Y/N)-I think she wrote it at work and had a maid bring it here... Why?

She just gave the note to Rosalina next and they passed the papers around and suddenly Rouge grabbed me and picked me up from behind to hold me like a baby.

Rouge-I say it's her loss... How about a tour for your guests? ~

(Y/N)-Oh, we can start with the pool if you want to do late-night swimming and stuff.

Isabelle-Well... I did bring a swimsuit for afterward to go to a beach.

(Y/N)-Ok, first I'll show the guest rooms you can stay in and the other rooms we have for fun and adult stuff. The pool can be last.

(Sally's POV)

The note was horrible how his mother assumed we would be providing care every night for the next week due to a surprise business trip. I don't care how impressive this house is. It doesn't cover up the fact his mother abandoned him on no notice at all. He was excited for the tour and each guest room had robes, towels, T.V.s, dressers, night tables, a mini fridge, and a queen-sized bed. Finally, we made it to the pool in the backyard, and not only was the backyard huge for the grass area. The pool also doubled as a bar.

(Y/N) looked happy to show us everything about his home, but while I was used to things similar to this by living in a castle, Isabelle and Ankha on the other hand were speechless.

Ankha-Is this a vacation home?

(Y/N)-Huh?... No.

Isabelle-This is amazing! Your friends must wanna come over a lot.

(Y/N)-I don't... really have friends.

Blaze-Really?... Not one?... What about a family member you spend a lot of time with?

He shook his head no.

Peach-A staff working that goes beyond for you?

No again.

Bayonetta-Ever?

(Y/N)-Well, I did have this one friend... Until she said she only wanted me for my family's money but left when I couldn't give her any.

Samus-What about someone you play with online? You like video games.

(Y/N)-I'm not allowed to go online.

No friends, his family is hardly around, no staff workers that at least show an extra mile for him... He's completely alone in this big house. He went to the bar area and tried to reach for some fruit punch while most of us showed how shocked we were about this.

Sally's mind-... Nobody?

(Samus's POV)

This reminded me a lot of my childhood being ruined by Ridley. I lost my whole life in one night and it was awful for so long. It's one of the main reasons I am so grateful to have all of these friends now and some completely understand. I was the only one that walked up to him while the others were bothered by his news.

Samus-(Y/N)... What do you do here or at that nightclub for fun?

(Y/N)-Well... Video games are what I mostly play. My first game was a Mario game. I played a Sonic game next, then Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby, Bayonetta, and so on. Super Smash games are my favorite though. I even watch shows and read comics after my reading lessons sometimes.

He wasn't just a fan simply because he liked the game that many others played... We are the closest thing he has to a personal connection before now... We still are. I felt so angry at his mother and father for isolating their child like this for the sake of work. I got the fruit punch he couldn't reach and poured him a cup after I sniffed it to make sure there was no alcohol in it. Peach came up next and looked a little sad for him.

Peach-We only have 2 more days left of this tournament.

(Y/N)-I know.

He casually sipped on his fruit punch. It's like being alone again was not really bothering him, but if he's like me. He's used to it right now. She didn't know what to say at this point and then (Y/N) finished his drink.

(Y/N)-So... I just thought of something... Only Isabelle has a swimsuit, so maybe we can go swimming another time? We have other fun things in the house, like my dad's private bowling alley or the room where I keep all of my games.

We all went back inside to where we wanted to go. I remember his game room and we walked past it... Instead of fun games for a child, all I saw were bribes from his parents.

Samus's mind-You two have a child and don't even spend time with them?! Are they just to hold up public appearances?!

(Rouge's POV)

Way to make a big and beautiful house feel depressing. We got to the bowling alley and there were 4 lanes, but I just sat on the bench in here. (Y/N) was so keen on playing and then Sally and Blaze sat next to me.

Sally-Be honest. Is this not at all what you were expecting of a happy child?

Rouge-Just the parts where he can actually smile.

Blaze-He's a fan of all of us. He's happy that out of all places, we are here.

Sally-... What happens after we leave and his dad is still not out of the hospital... or is out?

His life is completely lonely, but I snapped out of my thoughts when we noticed him coming up.

Rouge-Oh... Not me.

Blaze-I'll go next.

(Blaze's POV)

I got my turn out of the way after I picked a ball and started my score off with 9 pins after two rolls. After I noticed Isabelle and Ankha whispering to each other and Rouge was listening in from her seat. I decided I needed some space to clear my head a little, so I went to the bathroom. When I got there, I leaned against the door. When I left the bathroom I bumped into Rosalina in the hallway.

Blaze-Oh. Sorry.

Rosalina-It's alright... This home on the other hand. Should we call child services?

Blaze-And take away what little he has? He at least all of these games and things, but I don't think CPS will let him keep much

Rosalina-... *Sigh* It's not fair. He's clearly neglected when it comes to affection. It's not like we can stay forever either.

I know what she means, but we can't exactly leave him like this in good faith.

(Isabelle's POV)

As someone who has to help care for a whole city, it makes it harder when you become too attached and come across problems like this. Nobody should be alone like this. It broke my heart and Blaze never came back, so Sally took her turn. Meanwhile, Ankha's proposal...

Ankha-There is plenty of room for him at my home and with just as good of a lifestyle waiting for him

Isabelle-We can't just put him in a new home. The mayor would not allow this without proper clearance from him and the law officials here. Do you even know how hard it would be to bring him to our world through the portal ports? He will need citizenship for a permanent stay, not to mention constantly permitting the movers to bring in his things-.

Ankha-If only we had someone who could grant clearance... Oh, wait.

Isabelle-I'm the mayor's assistant. Not the mayor.

Ankha-But I know your handwriting and signature looked similar to his.

Isabelle-... I can't forge his signature!

Ankha pointed over to (Y/N) and he was sitting next to Bayonetta until she pulled him up to her lap. Knowing he'll be alone here again...

Isabelle-*Whine*.

I looked back to Ankha and now she had a pen from one of the pen cups in here and was waving it in front of me...

Isabelle-I... Um... We have 2 more days.

Ankha-What I'm hearing is... You'll think about it?

Isabelle-It's my turn!

I got up to go bowl, but her words still rang in my mind, and that made my tail tuck in between my legs.

(Peach's POV)

I was next to Bayonetta and (Y/N) and he was telling us about some things that happened to him. Like how he snuck out of the nightclub and some parts were a little funny. By the time we were on turn 8, (Y/N) was starting to yawn and get tired. We checked the clock in here and it said 9:24.

(Y/N)-*Yawn*.

Bayonetta-Awwww. Tired, Little One? ~

(Y/N)-Umm... I'm a little hungry too.

He was adorable. We took him to where the snacks were laid out for us and we all ate before we started to get ready for bed. The showers here were big enough to fit all of us and we showered together in the girl's room at a tournament before... Mostly to get paint and stuff off us after Inkling or Bowser Jr. hits us with paint. However, he would have to bathe alone... if he didn't come in with us and already started to get his clothes off for a shower and this caught most of us off guard.

Bayonetta-Little One!

(Y/N)-Huh?

Bayonetta was about to scold him, but Krystal got in between them.

Krystal-Bayonetta, wait!... He is mostly all alone and isolated. Do you think he understands this?

That was... fair reasoning. She still looked mildly annoyed and even more so that (Y/N) was already going in the shower to turn on the water to the shower and bath in that separate room. A few of us looked at each other.

Rosalina-Let's just wait for him to be done.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I wonder what was taking them so long to get in or were they even coming in? When I was getting my hair with baby shampoo I saw them leave, so I guess I was going first. I thought about the group baths at a resort my mom and dad took me to and there was a men's bath, a woman's bath, but also a bath for both of them. I tried to use that one and there were a couple of people in it that were both boys and girls. When I got out Daddy just got mad because he didn't see me go in and Mommy grounded me for the rest of the trip to where I could not leave her side out of the hotel room.

After my shower, I soaked in the bath for a bit before I got out. Before I could leave the bathroom I heard the girls talking outside the door, so I put my ear up to the door and I could hear them better.

Bayonetta-This place is toxic for him. Not learning common sense while learning other things should hardly be possible.

Are they talking about me?

Palutena-You must not blame him. His parents are hardly there for him and the staff here only do their job and go home.

Isabelle-That means he has barely any real reaction for not being around kids his age. He has little to no social skills.

Krystal-He just needs to get out some more.

Rouge-Well Mommy and Daddy surely aren't going to be doing that anytime soon.

I felt a little hurt... Is there something wrong with me?

Rosalina-Then... Let's just bring him to the tournament again. This time in the crowd to meet more of our friends. He can meet Daisy, Mario, Luigi, Toadette, or whoever comes. And that's just from our world.

Rouge-Amy is always on top of Sonic at the tournament, so she'll be there.

Sally-I can see if Bunnie is caught up on her farm.

They were naming more and more people from their worlds. My short time of being sad was made up for and I couldn't wait for tomorrow now. I just put my towel hoodie on to protect me from the cold outside and opened the door.

(Waluigi's POV)

*SMASH*

I flipped my dresser over again looking for that invite I got from Toad to invite myself to the tournament, but it was nowhere to be seen. I screamed in frustration before I ripped the cloak I had in half, but then I saw money fall to the ground from the deep pocket.

Waluigi-Huh?

I picked up the money and I knew I didn't have this before. I just went out while thinking about how this got there... and planned to get some dinner. After I stopped at a diner that I liked, I went on my phone and looked at a few posts from Wario going to a hospital. I posted a get well soon gif before I went to some of Honey's profiles and hoped for beach pictures but then came across a picture of Bayonetta with a sleeping kid laying his head on her lap.

Waluigi's mind-Huh?... How did a kid that puny hook up with her?!... Wait a minute. "Meet up with a little fan and he got me to a penthouse at a club. Championship titles payoff".

I thought about how she could still notice a kid like that and his family looked loaded... Missing invite that I know I had, meeting Bayonetta after the tournament, no show for the first round, $400, and now a rich kid...

Waluigi-RuuuuUUUUAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

Everyone looked at me and I finished my last bite of food before I slammed a hundred on the table before leaving the diner in a rush. I plan to go see Wario in the hospital to help him recover and then help me.

Waluigi's mind-I KNOW YOU STILL HAVE MY INVITE!!! I STOLE IT FAIR AND SQUARE YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!

Waluigi-When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna-!

(Krystal's POV)

Krystal--keep an eye on you while everyone else takes a shower. I took one before I got here.

(Y/N)-Ok... *yawn* You want to play a game?

Krystal-I think you are ready for bed. Your eyes look so groggy.

He tried to shake his head no, but he was not good at keeping his composer when he was tired. I took him to his room with me to get him into bed while he held onto me. I just put him in his bed and he looked up at me with little puppy eyes. He seemed so happy that we came and I bet he doesn't want this to end, even if we have a surprise for him tomorrow.

Krystal-... Do you want me to sleep with you?

He thought about it before he nodded his head yes to me. I got in bed with him and cuddled him a little and he seemed unsure about cuddling at first. I was going to ask him if he cuddled before, but the lack of stuffed animals and the way his parents are. I know the answers.

Krystal-Here, wrap an arm around me, tuck your other arm here, scoot down a little, and press into me.

I taught him how to be the little spoon with me and he quickly liked it and nuzzled into me some more. He started to go to sleep while I looked down on him and thought about his life... I may not have the safest line of work, but I thought of something.

Krystal's mind-I would you feel if I took you into space? ~
