((Y/N)'s POV)

Yesterday was... I don't know, but the gems and my parents made it better. I just couldn't sleep tonight and Mirror saw I was up, so we just talked. We kept it quiet though and I stayed up until morning and didn't feel very tired anymore after I took a nice shower. When I got out, I ran into my dad getting ready for work. He was surprised that I was up and I just told him I woke up a while ago and couldn't go back to sleep. He might get mad if he finds out I was up all night. When he left, I just sat in the living room with the Mirror to talk some more and thought about what they said earlier.

(Y/N)-Hey, you said you can take me somewhere to fix you... Can you still take me?

Mirror-"Yes", "I" "can" "still take" "you".

(Y/N)-Do we need the warp?

Mirror-"Yes".

I need to get to the temple, and Garnet did saw she wanted to see me today. I had to wait for a gem to talk to my mom or Mom will take me to the city. I don't got any school stuff right now, so I got the whole day to help the Mirror. We had to wait for Mom to get up and make breakfast before we could go.

(Garnet's POV)

I left the moment I could get (Y/N) as soon as he was able to leave the house according to my vision that was most likely to happen. Most I wait is around 5 minutes without his mother making a fuss about it. By the time I got there and knocked on the door, (Y/N) opened the door and his hair looked a little wet, so he just got out of the shower from what it looks like. What I didn't see before was him holding a mirror in his hand.

(Y/N)-Hey Garnet! I was about to ask Mom if I could come over! I wanted to go somewhere today!

Garnet-Let me talk to her.

He let me in and I found her in the kitchen cleaning up a little until she saw me come in. It looked like she just finished up too, so no harm in talking right now.

Garnet-Hello, (M/N).

(M/N)-OH, hi. You must be Garnet.

Garnet-Yes. Your son wanted to come over to Beach City.

(M/N)-You and your friends seem to watch him a lot.

Garnet-We don't mind at all. We like his company.

(M/N)-Well, he his a pretty friendly and happy boy.

Garnet-He even reminds us of someone we knew.

(M/N)-Well, I was hoping to take (Y/N) around the neighborhood. Introduce us to the neighbors properly and find him a few friends.

In other words... Less time for us. Ruby and Saphire were silent as I was, but we all felt hatred for that idea, and it will not happen. I looked into the future to pick the best ways to change her mind, but a lot of them led to her getting angry and trying to get me to leave... I know what that will lead me to do, so for her sake...

Ruby's mind-SHE BETTER HAND HIM OVER!!!

Saphire's mind-He must not be with anyone else! The possibilities might be too risky for him!

((Y/N)'s POV)

I waited outside for Garnet, but Mirror wanted us to leave right now without her. It would just be a very long walk, and my mom and Garnet might get mad if I go out alone. I just showed them around the front yard in the meantime, and soon Garnet came out and picked me up while I showed Mirror the flowers.

Garnet-Let's go on a little adventure.

(Y/N)-Is my mom coming?

Garnet-She saw things a little differently and let me take you.

(Y/N)-Oh... Well, I want to go to that fountain place Mi-. I mean, Pearl took us to. The one with roses all over it.

Garnet-Why there?

(Y/N)-I... like how pretty it was and maybe we can even go there in secret for a picnic or something... Just us.

I thought Garnet might ask me another question, but instead, she started walking a little faster... She started running... Now, she was jumping from roof to roof while holding me. I got scared of heights, so she turned me into her while stroking my head. When we made it to the temple she went on the warp pad with me kind of sneaky like to make it just be us before she put me down.

Garnet-Go wait by the fountain inside. I'll be back with food.

I did what she said and waved goodbye to her while she watched me go in. I saw the fountain and heard Garnet warp back to the house for food. I can't wait to show her that I fixed the mirror, and speaking of which. I held Mirror up and smiled.

(Y/N)-Ok, now what?

(Garnet's POV)

My mind was flooded with thoughts of feeding (Y/N), snuggling him, and having him all to myself. We had food stored over here for Greg and Amythest. I took some of that food to quickly make sandwiches, chips, fruit, and cookies. Saphire couldn't help herself anymore and got us to look into the future. We saw futures of us feeding him and having a good time, but for some reason... those were slim.

Garnet-... What?

((Y/N)'s POV)

(Y/N)-*Grunt* I... can't do it! It's stuck!

Mirror-"Yes", "you can", "(Y/N)".

I tried to pull the gem off the back of the mirror, but it was stuck. I tried dunking it in the water, but all that did was... fix the cracks. Mirror said I had to keep pulling until I felt it becomes a little loose.

(Y/N)-It's coming off! *grunt*

Garnet-(Y/N)!!!

I turned to see Garnet with the picnic basket and she was running over to me. I was about to say something, but the gem finally came out and flew out of my hand.

I felt the mirror shake until it shattered and I screamed from the explosion and broken glass. Garnet took me into one arm and suddenly we both saw a glow. We looked to see the gem I dropped the light started to look like a person until it went away... It was a girl.

I was so confused about what was going on and Garnet tried to hide me behind her. The girl looked over here and she looked really angry at Garnet.

???-... You.

I hid behind Garnet a little more and felt a little scared, so I tried to leave, but when the water from the fountain started moving, I froze a bit. Garnet put down the basket and turned to grab me and run.

???-YOU KNEW I WAS IN THERE AND YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS DID NOTHING!!!

I heard rushing water before it crashed down and Garnet kept on running with me to the warp. We were surrounded by a water wall, so we turned back to the lady who attacked us.

???-My name is Lapis Lazuli, and you can't trap me here anymore!... Now,... give him to me.

(Y/N)-Wait, stop!

I jumped out of Garnet's arms and got in front of her to try and protect her. I was really scared, but if we were friends before then maybe she'll listen.

(Y/N)-Mi-. I-I mean Lapis, please don't fight! We can all just talk about this! I helped you!

Lapis-(Y/N)... Come here, 'now'.

Suddenly, Garnet hit the ground really hard with her weapons to make Lapis and I both all over, the water came down, and she caught me to quickly get on the warp and throw a large boulder in the air for it to come back down and crush the warp. Lapis looked super angry now and grew water wings to fly really fast at us.

Lapis-NOOOO!!!

We warped and just before the boulder or Lapis could reach us. We were back at the temple in no time, but I started to cry a little. This wasn't how it was supposed to go at all. I didn't know there was someone in the mirror, I didn't know they hated each other, and I didn't know she would try to kill Garnet!

(Y/N)-*Sniffle* *hic* *hic* I-I didn't-... I'm sorry! *sobbing*

Garnet-It's alright. Take a moment before we talk about what just happened.

(Garnet's POV)

I couldn't keep up because I didn't really see this future or rather, I wanted this day to be a perfect surprise. I let this happen, but none of us knew that there was a gem inside of that mirror or Pearl would have never given that to him. (Y/N) cried into me while I sat on the couch and held him against me. He cuddled against me and it did make me feel better while Ruby and Saphire were both adoring him, even when he can't hear them. Still though...

Garnet's mind-What do we do about Lapis?

(Lapis's POV)

That whatever they were took off with (Y/N) and destroyed the warp to get back! Now, I had to fly high to scout the planet out and find Beach City or the neighborhood (Y/N lives in. He is the first being to show me an ounce of true kindness and compassion in a very long time! Forget about going home until I get what I want from this world!

Lapis's mind-Where are you?! Where did you take him?!

(Timeskip To Night)

((M/N)'s POV)

(D/N) was working late tonight and (Y/N) was not brought back home, yet. I was about to take a trip to Beach City when at that moment Garnet finally brought him back home and he was super tired. I was furious about bringing him back so late that I didn't care about the other futures she showed me because I hated this one too! I took him to his room to tuck him in bed before I came back down to yell at Garnet.

(M/N)-What were you thinking keeping him out this late?!

Garnet-He needed time to rest after today.

(M/N)-So you bring him home! You can't just keep him at your temple for as long as you like! Now, I don't think he should go back with any of you if this is going to happen.

Garnet-... Don't be so hasty about this.

(M/N)-I will do what I want! You take my son and it's 10 at night now! I should-!

Garnet-Calm down.

(M/N)-Are you threatening me?! Stay away from my son, you-!

Suddenly, she grabbed me by my neck and pinned me against the wall while looking mad herself now.

Garnet-I have had a hell of a day, and the last thing you will do is keep me from him... Now, you listen to 'me'.

(Connie's POV)

I finished some assignments for school a head of time before I got ready for bed. When I looked out of my window to look at the stars, I noticed something else and it was strange because it was so late.

I saw them walking down the street and wondered what they were doing here at this time. I know they go to that kid's house sometimes recently, but he should be in bed right now. I saw them disappear behind some houses but soon looked at the kid's house... They hopped onto the roof and climbed through the window after using their powers to shapeshift their arm through the tiny crack at the bottom of the window.

Connie-What the?

I rubbed my eyes to make sure I know what I was seeing was real.
