(Hudson's POV)

Muller did not answer all day yesterday. Hues and I could not go to the station about this without shit hitting the fan, so we decided to leave that as a last resort. We're still on the case and if we tell them we left him behind at the house of our dead-end lead, it'll only be a matter of time before they check our equipment and ask us questions. That will lead to us getting into shit or even me getting fired because I ditched the rules a few times and it almost never paid off. We thought about checking out Muller's place first and luckily I knew where he kept his spare key and what the fake rock looked like. I unlocked the front door to his house and walked in with Hues.

Hudson-Muller!... You here?!

Hues-You didn't answer any texts or calls!

Hudson-... Muller?!

We checked out his house and had our guns ready. Wouldn't be the first time a killer paid a detective's home a visit and left traps for those who come to check. I know our training and to watch all surroundings slowly and carefully, test all steps on the stairs first, and slowly open and peek into doors before opening them. After a while, the house was clear and no sign of Muller even being here recently.

Hues-Think he's still staking out the house or got caught?

Hudson-He would be gone by now anyway or gotten reported, so we would have the chief on our asses too.

Hues-Well... What we saw last night was weird, so-.

Hudson-There are no Disney characters in that house!

Hues-Not saying that. It just sounds weird, don't you think?... Maybe worth looking into one last time... Unless you got a better idea of how to find Muller because that was the last place we saw him.

Hudson-...

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

We went back to the house to see that construction for the fence started, but there was no sign of what looked like the owners. We parked where we hid the car first and started walking around to see if we could find any clues as to where he might've gone. He might've left a trail and thanks to the weather, it could not have been hidden this quickly. I checked past the house and the quickest path to the city, but there was nothing I could see. Hopefully, he took another route, but we can't stay here much longer. When we both came up with nothing, I had Hues pick me up at the bottom of the mountain. I got in the car and started driving back to town before more trucks show up.

Hues-Only trail was to that house as far as I saw... What now?

Hudson-We check a few places in town he might be and if we still come up with nothing... We pay the owners a visit formally. If they feel safer, they might slip up.

(Elsa's POV)

I peeked out the window a bit while holding (Y/N) to see the fence being built. I'm surprised the planning was done so quickly and it was more complex than how my people did it back home... Or in my movie. Diane made it to where it's hard to get in and with screens on the walls to act as one-way windows for us to look out without others looking at it, we will have the fence electrified at the top... This world never fails to show me how advanced it is. Tigress and Poppy were also amazed. When I took (Y/N) to my room to let him play with some snow while the cold didn't bother anyone else, he still looked nervous from all the people outside. He just doesn't like big crowds.

Elsa-Hey, it's ok. Nobody will get you in here. They're all busy outside. ~

I made a pile of snow for him to make snow angels for me and I booped his little nose. Sadly, I caught him staring at the closed curtains when we heard beeping outside which Helen said is just for a truck. Construction was loud where I came from, but there were never this many different noises and this will be the case for the next few days to a week.

Elsa-Hey, I'll put on some music for you. That should help drown out that tiny noise. ~

Thankfully, they had something very simple to play music at the push of a button. I put on some classical music to help relax a little and the small bits of noise could not be heard. (Y/N) made snow angels in my room until snow covered the sides of his jacket, and when he rolled over, he sat up, he reached for me to pick him up and not chance ruining his little creation. He stared down at it with a blank look, but I think he was just trying to keep himself in check. He still needs to get used to opening up still because there are still many things that have to still be haunting him.

Elsa-Hey sweetie... You wanna talk about some stuff?

(Y/N)-Like what?

Elsa-I know having all these strangers outside and everything else that happened must be making you sad... You know we would do 'anything' to protect you and keep you happy, right?

(Y/N)-Yeah,... but...I don't know how to talk about bad things without crying.

Elsa-It's ok to cry and feel scared... How about a little game? You say 2 good things from when e got her, and one bad thing. You don't need to give details, but one or two words would be fine. It can be as long or as short as you want.

(Y/N)-Well... I like cuddling, and you are all good are cooking and baking... Umm... D-Daddy yelled at me a lot and when I think about it... it hurts still.

I hugged him tighter, but I felt a little angry that his hateful words still hurt him and I can't punish him anymore. I got him to bring up Ricky on the 12th round which made him cry into me.

Elsa-I know, I know... Here, no more games. Let's get you in a nice warm bath and you can go play with Poppy or any other mommy you want. Ok? ~

He nodded his head, so I slowly took him to the bathroom, but then I heard the doorbell ring through the house. With (Y/N)'s fragile state, it only disturbed him and the others are listening to music in the gym or napping.

Elsa's mind-I don't care if it was an accident... Nobody scares my baby anymore.

I turned on the water to let it warm up and sat him on my bed before I gave him one last kiss.

Elsa-I'll be right back. Mommy just needs to talk to someone. ~

I left my room and went to the office and saw 2 men on the screen and at the front door. It took me a moment to find the right button and they rang the doorbell again which made me angry.

(Hues's POV)

We are doing a head-on approach and I told Hudson to leave the smooth-talking to me since he comes off as someone who will break your spine if you cross him. Me... I'm tough and smart on the inside, but a teddy bear on the outside. I was expecting Diane to act sly about her talking, but instead, I was greeted with...

???-We told your boss to answer all your questions and we were not to be disturbed like this!

Hues-Woah, woah, woah, lady. We are not with the construction crew, but we understand you must have a lot on your plate. We just wanna poke ya for a few questions and we'll get out of your hair.

???-Ugh, are you with that cop that wouldn't leave us alone?!

Hues-Well, detective. Wait, how did you-?

???-We saw the car on the mountain from the cameras of our house!

Hudson-... We had a friend here and he was last here when we saw him.

???-And how do you know this?

Hues-Well... We think you are aware of your bosses being mixed into a case.

???-I will tell you what I know about the story of missing people on the news... Nothing. Now, leave before I get really angry and call the police!

Ok, this is not going well and she's super pissed off, so I need to calm her down and be a friend.

Hues-Hey, we're not here for that. Let's all just take a breath and have a nice civil conversation. You have a job to do to care for and protect a child, and we respect that. We have a job too, and all we are asking is for a few moments of your time and we are gone... You will never see us here again.

???-... What do you want?

Hues-Did your boss have any enemies? He wasn't exactly known to be compassionate to his peers from what we are told.

???-I don't know. His business was his and our job was to be housekeepers and caretakers. Nothing more.

Hues-Perhaps, (D/N) knew something. He was a party guy and... had the police called on him many times.

???-This is stupid and a waste of my time! Leave!

Hudson-Not until we have more info on this case! People are missing and a detective was last seen here! Now, we do have a reason to suspect you and your co-workers!

???-... You wanna talk?... Let's do it face-to-face. Meet me in the garage.

We heard the garage door open and with all of these people around, it'll be just one gunshot away to alert everyone. We had our guns ready when we got into the garage and the door started to close. At the last few inches a door opened from the house and someone walked in... My mind went blank.

Elsa-You think you can threaten my friends and child?

Hudson-FRE-!!!

She saved her hand and we were both in blocks of ice before we could point our guns at her. Elsa walked up to us and blasted our chests through the ice. She tried to speak to us, but I could not hear a thing before she left.

(Diane's POV)

I took my earbuds out and rested on the bench in the gym for a bit to catch my breath. I thought about seeing Elsa play with (Y/N) while the others were busy. Even Poppy was trying to lift weights for 'stronger hugs'. When I got to Elsa's room, I heard both of them in the shower and I saw how sweaty I was in my suit.

Diane-Hmmmm... I suppose I did enough for the day.

I knocked on the bathroom door before I walked in to see them both in the shower. Nothing I haven't seen before and (Y/N) was in the middle of one of his panic attacks, so she was holding him.

Diane-What happened?

Elsa-We just had a little talk about letting some emotions out then the doorbell startled him.

Diane-Awww, sweetie. Room for one more? ~

I joined them in the shower and rubbed his back as the soothing after hit my body. I gave him a kiss before she put him down and we started to clean ourselves first before we got him.

(Y/N)-E-Elsa... was someone here? I thought I heard something.

Elsa-Don't be silly baby. I turned them away at the door. They were mad and confused.

He tried to push on this conversation until I picked him up and put his head on my shoulder to bounce him in my arms while I secretly gave Elsa a look. She used her magic a little to make a large snowflake with a message on it.

Diane's mind-The other 2 men came. They pushed it too far. Froze them in blocks before freezing their hearts.

I glared at her a little for doing something to cause more attention. There are still so many people outside and she lured them into the garage! That looks very suspicious and that's saying something. I thought quickly and wrote something on the glass thanks to the condensation from the water... "Too long", "Void Them". I wiped the message away and we finished the shower, but after I took (Y/N) to his room to get him dressed.

Diane-Honey boo, let's go to my room and we'll put a show on for you.

He suddenly looked like he was on the verge of crying for some reason. I don't think I said anything to upset him.

Diane-Oh, please don't cry!

(Y/N)-*Sniffles* I don't like all tho-those loud noises outside. I thought I h-h-heard s-someone yelling.

Diane-My poor baby. Nobody was yelling. Don't cry. ~

That didn't help and he was breathing a little faster, so I put him on my lap to comfort him and he took my hand. I didn't like him hyperventilating, even if it wasn't as bad as before, yet. I thought about many victims from my days as 'The Crimson Paw' and a few children... I stuck my finger in his mouth and he looked confused until he started to suck on it and started to relax. Helen did breastfeed him, so this was not nearly as embarrassing to him, but... I do love it when he blushes too. Another time though.

Diane-Good boy. Just relax and let Mommy make it better... No more crying. ~

I soon took a break from this to dress him and gave him my finger back to suck on it while taking him to my room. Tigress ran into me in the hallway and it looked like she just got out of the shower when she left the living room to clean up a trail of water leading to the living room.

Diane-Elsa needed help?

Tigress-Yes... Hi (Y/N). I didn't know Helen found a new therapy for you. ~

Diane-I'm taking him to my room.

((Y/N)'s POV)

They talked to each other for a while and I even heard a few others 'awww' at me from another room, so now everyone knows that I think I can relax from this. It did, but I saw the trail of water and wondered what Elsa needed help with. When Diane saw me looking at it, I guess she was trying to get my attention. I also guess it didn't work... Until she pulled her finger out of my mouth to lift her shirt while holding me and switched me to her boob in front of Tigress. My face burned up more and more when Tigress gave me a kiss as I sucked a little from what my body did on its own. No milk was coming out though for some reason, unlike Helen. This didn't make me stop thinking though...

(Y/N)'s mind-Where did that trail of water come from?... Are they hiding something from me?
