(Mika's POV)

Christa and I were helping each other walk on our new feet and (Y/N) helped me stay up while Christa used her stroller as a bit of support. We had a bit of a wobble from time to time, but so far we were not even close to falling down. Nurses and assistants were following us in case we need help and we were getting stares from other animals that were just curious. These clothes felt a little weird, but this was just to show all humans that not only are we in charge, but even further in evolution. On the right side, I could truly carry (Y/N) across town, but just not for long until I get used to walking. I don't wanna fall and hurt him. By the time we made it to the park, we already saw Jessie and Joey playing, but unlike us, Jessie had no problems with walking r running.

We got to a spot on the grass to put the blanket down then she noticed and ran over here with Joey... She even jumped to do a flip just to show off and we were both speechless at this point.

Jessie-Hey girls. Looking good.

Christa-How are you so good at walking and running already?!

Jessie-I was on two feet before... Not that much of a difference for me I guess. Was a painful few days though.

Mika-I know. I even heard my little guy was worried about me. ~

I picked (Y/N) up and he blushed when the others looked at him. Jessie put Joey on her shoulders.

Jessie-Joey was worried and throwing fits to try and get to me. Little tike even snuck into my bed sometimes and got mad when they put him back on his own little bed. *chuckles* ~

Joey-Not funny!

Jessie-I know, you just wanna snuggle with me. They were mean to stop you, weren't they? ~

Joey nodded his heading one big nod to be dramatic and it was funny, so we all laughed a bit. He looked so adorable and pouty then Christa took Angele out of his stroller before sitting down.

Jessie-What about your baby? He had to get fussy without his mama. First thing they saw in this world that really cared for them, they are going to be crying for you.

Christa-And he was darling. My poor baby cried for me while I was in pain and he couldn't always have me. Isn't that right Angel, you just wanted your mama. ~

She cradled him while rubbing his head, cheek, and chin with one finger and he swung his arms a little. We all kept on talking about our times at home and under quarantine until we noticed Autumn finally come over with Makenzie.

<figure></figure><figure></figure>

Makenzie was walking a little with a brace on, but Autumn had more trouble than her and a few of our nurses ran over to help her and then slowly guided her to sit down on the blanket.

Autumn-S-Sorry I'm late everyone. I had a few problems with the stairs to help me get used to walking.

Christa-Are you alright darling? You look a little roughed up.

Autumn-I just fell a few times. I'm fine.

Makenzie looked worried about her and snuggled up to her. At this point, all of the leashes were just here for showing they belong to us. Every human of ours clung to us and even worried about us. Later, Jessie is about to take Joey to go play some more and I wanted her to take (Y/N) too to get him some exercise, but he didn't want to go.

Mika-Honey, go play for a bit... I'll be out there to play with you soon. I just want to talk to Autumn for a bit. ~

(Y/N)-I won't talk and interrupt.

Mika-I know you won't, but that's not the point. ~

He tried to make himself stay, but I gave Jessie his leash and it only took a few gentle tugs to make him slowly follow her. The last bit of contact was me giving him a kiss on his cheek goodbye for him to play.

Jessie-Come on love. I'll push you both on the swings.

(Y/N)-Mika.

Mika-Have fun, and I'll be there to push you myself in a bit. Promise. ~

((Y/N)'s POV)

I watched Mika and Christa check on Autumn since she got hurt while Jessie pulled me on my leash. We made it to the swings and Joey got a swing that you have to put your legs through like a high chair then she put me on a swing and took our leashes off before she started pushing. I held on to the chains and tried to do what I see other kids do on here.

(Y/N)'s mind-Kick forward, tuck back.

Joey-High mama, higher!

Jessie-Hang on you two!

She pushed us harder and we went a little higher. While this was fun, I still looked over at Mika and the others when the bushes weren't in the way.

<figure></figure><figure></figure><figure></figure><figure></figure><figure></figure>

I did start to smile and enjoy being pushed on the swings, but I started to see flashing coming from my side somewhere. I looked to see 9 animals running up to us with cameras and microphone, so Jessie stopped us from swinging which made her feet drag in the bark a bit. One of the cameras flashed in her eyes and it made her bump into me a little. She looked a little mad at the animals now.

Jessie-Oi! What are you doing?!

Bear-Ma'am, can you give us an insight on your transformation?!

Poccupine-Is the process really painful?!

Fox-How difficult is it to control this body to your old one?!

Mouse-Are these little boys both your pets?! Can we get an interview with them?!

Jessie-Back off!

Jessie tried to get Joey off of the swing first then the bear walked up to me. I was scared about how big and scary he looked, and he had a button in the side of his mouth that made the camera he had to take a picture of you. I tried to hide behind Jessie, but I was picked up from behind and saw it was Mika, so I held on to her.

<figure></figure>

I turned into Mika a little and she held my head while trying to keep her balance.

Mika-Excuse me, what are doing?!

Bear-We're the press ma'am. Do you mind sharing your thoughts during this experience of going from walking on four legs to two legs?

Mika-Don't you have other important animals you can see like this?!

Bear-This is the biggest step in evolution in a very long time.

Jessie-Then try finding someone who wants to talk instead of playing at a park!

Fox-Little boy, when your owner was in bed for days, were you allowed to-?!

Jessie kicked the microphone out of the fox's robot hand then walked away with Joey and Mika followed her. The animals tried to follow us, but when we made it back to the blanket the workers got in the way to go talk to them and Mika put my leash back on.

(Makenzie's POV)

I saw (Y/N) look a bear right in the face and they still looked scary from over here and Autumn held me tight when those press animals tried to come over. We all stayed on the blanket then Autumn got up and helped me up.

Autumn-We're gonna go walk a few laps around the park. I still need to get used to this.

Christa-Ugh, me too.

Mika-You wanna walk with us, Jessie?

Jessie-Just until I'm sure those guys aren't coming back.

Autumn-Come sweetie. That brace should hold, but if it starts hurting, just tell me.

Makenzie-Ok.

We all started to walk and they all slowed down for me... or maybe for them too. I just walked next to (Y/N) and I didn't know what to say, but...

Makenzie-H-Hey (Y/N).

(Y/N)-Oh, hey.

Makenzie-Ummm... M-Maybe if we go over to each other's houses again, we can play a game together. Autumn has board games and puzzles.

The girls looked at us and (Y/N) smiled a little at me.

(Y/N)-... Ok.

Mika-Awwwww... ~ Why don't we walk over to Autumn after one lap?

Autumn-My little girl is inviting over a friend! I can make some lunch later and-! Woooahhh!

Jessie rushed to Autumn and caught her before she could hit the could.

Jessie-Watch those new feet... Come here Joey, we're gonna go do our own thing for a while.

Jessie lifted her before she put Joey in her pouch and started to run and jump very high which made Joey scream and laugh. That did look like fun then I looked at my foot again. I walked on the brace a little faster to get in front of everyone then (Y/N) sped up to me. We smiled at each other and then I realized something, but wondered if it was true or not... I don't want to make it weird, so I'll ask after we play some games together.

Makenzie's mind-Are we... friends now?... I never had a real friend before.
