((Y/N)'s POV)

Yesterday was so nice from the cuddling, watching a cartoon for the first time, playing a game with Miia, shopping for toys and things for my room, and even the part of the day where Miia burned the cake made her sad, but it was kinda funny. I woke up in my room for now with a new matt on the floor that was warm and fluffy to walk on instead of the cold floor, a few posters and mirrors, 4 new toys in my toy chest, and some nice curtains. When I left my room I smelled something downstairs a little and I didn't know what it was, so I headed for the kitchen then saw that Miia was in here cooking something on the stove, but it was kinda smoking a lot.

She soon turned to see me and had a smile almost like nothing was wrong, but I guess like the cake last night, she burned what she was cooking...

(Y/N)'s mind-She's very nice, but I think she's not a good cook.

I don't want to hurt her feelings by saying the food is bad, but at the same time I don't think eating burnt food is good for you.

Miia-Morning sweetie, why don't you find something to do until breakfast is ready.

I didn't have any time to stash food in my room, so I had to eat it. I just went out on the porch in the backyard to sit and look at the sky for a bit before I looked at the ground then started to think about what else this program would be like. Ms. Smith said a lot of rules to me and I don't want to break any and risk going back to the orphanage, but... Miia could use a cookbook. While I was trying think of a nice way to say it I suddenly saw a shadow of me and I was snatched off the ground by the back of my shirt very fast that it knocked the wind out of me, so I couldn't scream. Just then Miia was going out with food on a plate that looked black with even a little bit of purple on then dropped it when she freaked out.

We were getting farther and farther away until while I was looking down, I saw we were landing in the park just outside the neighborhood. When I could finally breath normal again, but still couldn't scream I looked up to see who kidnapped me and when I did...

(Ms. Smith's POV)

Miia was on the phone freaking out and talking too fast for me to understand at first, but then I made her explain things to me more slowly. When she told me she saw a "giant bird" fly off with (Y/N) while he was outside I asked for more details and when she brought up "blue wings", I knew who it was. This does should like something she would do because she always acts without thinking, especially when it comes to play time. I was about to pull the plug on her, but then I thought that this could work out.

Ms. Smith-Alright, i'll take care of this. Just promise to stay home. We can't cause a scene.

Miia-Ugh!

She just hung up and I hop that was just a very angry yes, but just to safe... I should get a move on. There was always on place I would always find her at...

Ms. Smith's mind-The park... Please, don't do anything crazy Papi.

((Y/N)'s POV)

(Y/N)-AAAAHHHHHHH!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

The tip of her feathers tickled so much when she did it gently and when she finally stopped she flew up into a tree for our game of tag. I keep on trying to tell her I know she was just looking for someone to play with, but I can't be away from home right now. She just would not listen to me then she saw an ice cream cart come by and even had some money on her.

???-Come on, i'll buy us both one!

She took me with her and she got us each an ice cream sandwich then sat on a bench and wanted me to sit next to her and I could tell by the look on her face. I don't wanna hurt her feelings or let her get in trouble, so maybe I could get her to want to take me back home, so I sat next to her. When we finished our ice cream... and I shared the rest of mine after she dropped hers.

(Y/N)-Um... I'm (Y/N). What's your name?

(Y/N)-Um... C-Can I just call you Papi?

Papi-Sure. You know, I never played with a human kid before. I thought since adults never really like to play at a park, maybe a little kid would. You were the first to play with me.

I felt a little sad to hear that because I just got away from that part of my life... sort of I think, but I had to get home and maybe she won't be in as much trouble if she brings me back.

(Y/N)-M-Maybe we can play a game at my house.

Papi-A park is so much bigger and fun though. I left my host family again since I do it all the time to come here since no family wants to play as much as me... But the terminator said if it happened again I would be incested and deposited... Not sure what that means though.

Just then she looked surprised and kinda scared.

Papi-I don't think I like that.

I was just about to answer here, but then I suddenly saw my new mommy slither into the park looking around and when she saw us, she looked really made.

When she came over she grabbed and tried to hold me on her side, but Papi quickly wrapped her wings around me.

Papi-Hey, let go of my friend! We were playing!

They started pulling me back and forth and people were staring as they walked by then I was dropped when they both tripped into the fountain here and got all wet. Just then a police officer came by to see what was going on and I think we were in big trouble. They both stopped fighting and Miia pulled me close to her.

Officer-You three, what's going on?... Where's your proper escort for the 2 of you?

(Miia's POV)

I was panicking because in my rush while talking to Ms. Smith, I forgot my paperwork, but I just hope he would let me show him at my home, but being near a run away might give me a bad rep as a new mother in this program. Ms. Smith said this very brand new and very fragile, so the first impression will mean everything... This is bad.

Miia's mind-I... I just got a son! I don't wanna lose him!

Officer-Let me ask you again. Where is your escort?

We all turned and what I saw made me so relieved.

She had papers with her and a card and gave them to the officer and he started checking him, so I just held my son close while he gave us a look.

Ms. Miia-This paperwork is for a new Interspecies Adoption Program and we just thought a nice walk would help start the bonding process.

He soon gave the papers back to her and showed him picture I.D. of Papi then I pulled out mine to show then he just spoke with Ms. Smith a bit before he left us alone. I was curious why she bothered to show I.D. of a runaway or how she even had that I.D., but she just got us in a car to drive back home.

Ms. Smith-(Y/N) sweetie, when we get home, do you mind going to your room. You're not in trouble, but your mommy and I are gonna have an adult talk. Did you have breakfast yet?

Papi-We had ice cream!

I tried to tell Ms. Smith that Papi wasn't bad and just wanted a friend before I went to my room, but I don't know if that worked. I was playing with a few of my toys right now before I was called downstairs then saw everyone in the living room.

Miia motioned for me to come to her and she put me on her lap before I looked at Ms. Smith and she was smiling, so maybe this was good.

Ms. Smith-Hey sweetie, I just had a little talk and Papi is sorry for making your mommy worry.

Miia-Yes, she is.

Ms. Smith-Now hold on. We're adults here and we all want the same thing here.

Ms. Smith-Papi, you really liked playing with (Y/N) and the idea of always having a play mate?

Just then the three of us looked at her in surprise in our own ways and the only one unhappy was Miia which I can understand a little why.

Just then Papi took me from Miia and spun around with me while being very happy.

Papi-Did you hear that? I get to be your mommy now! That's way better than a friend because now we live together and we can play games whenever we like, and cuddle, and-!

Miia-Ms. Smith! She ran off with him and now she's living here?!

I was worried Miia was not gonna be happy and make Papi feel sad and not welcome, so I tried to think of something to change her mind and help her feel better about this. Just then Ms. Smith too me from Papi and put me down then grabbed a briefcase by the chair she was sitting in.

Ms. Smith-Now before you officially move in, we do have paperwork. Miia also might wanna talk about this some more.

Papi-Awww, paperwork?! I already did that before I was transplanted here!

Miia-I think you mean transferred.

Just then Ms. Smith turned and bent down to me with a soft smile.

Ms. Smith-Why don't you go play outside for a bit. I'm gonna have some men make a few extra rooms. Gotta make room for your new mother and a spare room for me to na-. I-I mean... a guest bedroom.

Ms. Smith-Don't be silly honey. Just stay in the neighborhood during construction. You can try to make a few friends or find some place to take your mommies to when you go out. There's a smaller park a few blocks away.

(Timeskip)

I went to the bathroom before I left and those men did get here fast while Papi was laying her head on a pile of papers on the table... I even think I saw steam of something coming from her. Miia didn't want me around while men were carrying sharp tools and stuff, so I was trying to find the park. When I was about to turn a corner I heard a noise that sounded like a horsey, but when I turned the corner to see what it was...

*WHAM*

I was sent flying into a pile of leaves, so I wasn't hurt and I didn't see who hit or bumped into me until I crawled out of the leaf pile which was kinda fun.

I saw she had a sword on her side and I wonder if that was even allowed for anyone around here or if she was bad. Just the she put her hand on her chest like she was very proud of something she just did, but all she did was bump into me and sent me flying into a leaf pile.
