(Ozpin's POV)

I was getting some work done with a nice cup of coffee to help my nerves a bit then all the sudden I detected something on radar, so I pulled out my screen from my desk to check and saw it was an Atlas airship, but I had this one marked as a special one. I know this one does not visit unless it's an order or she has some sort of business here. Given James is not here or even made an attempt to reach me, I questioned the arrival of the ship. With haste, I pulled up the camera feeds in the courtyard to see the ship land on the pad before Atlas Alizian knights came out.

Ozpin's mind-What is she doing here? Never knew her to travel without orders, even to visit a family member... Let's see what James has to say.

(Weiss's POV)

I saw her ship from our dorm's window, so I rushed out to where the ship landed with my team to see her and she'll be able to help us sort this out. I even told all my teammates, especially Ruby, to let me do all the talking. We soon made it to the courtyard and when we did I saw my sister walking right down the middle of it with that normal serious look on her face, but I was so happy to see her.

Weiss-Winter!

I ran until I was a few feet in front of my older sister and I knew the others were close behind me and it was early in the morning and I know she must be busy, so I had to make this sound good.

Winter-It's been a while since we last saw each other dear sister. I understand you had a matter that pushed you to call me for help?

Weiss-Yes, it's a legal temporary custody case.

Winter-You do understand I am a special operative and not a lawyer, correct?

Weiss-Of course I do.

Winter-Then what do you expect me to do?

Weiss-I humbly request that you call in a favor to return my teammates little brother to them.

Winter-What?... Explain.

(Winter's POV)

My little sister explained everything without leaving out small details and to me it sounded like the right thing was already done, but it was a complicated matter. I suppose my relationship with my younger brother was far different than theirs, so I will speak to Goodwitch about this as well as this "(Y/N) Rose". The general also does owe me a few favors, but I don't mind using one for my little sister if I see fit to use it.

Weiss-So will you help us?

Winter-I will investigate further into this before I do anything. I'll speak to Professor Goodwitch myself.

She smiled as I walked past her then I heard slight cheering, but when I turned around Weiss was completely still and composed like I taught her... I'll give her the benefit of a doubt since it's been a while since I saw her.

Winter's mind-Alright, let's see this child.

((Y/N)'s POV)

Glynda was just reading a book on her chair while I just played with a toy on the ground and sometimes she would watch me. I asked if we could see my sisters today since I slept through it yesterday, but she said "They need to start getting ready for school in a few days, but we can see them later today for a meal". I tried to get her to call them for lunch, but she thought it would be better to do something last minute to let them focus on what they need to do, she was sure they'll say yes anyway and I think she was right. Soon we heard a knock on the door and I hoped it was my sisters then Glynda got up to answer the door, but when she opened it, it was a lady that looked as serious as her.

???-Greetings.

Glynda-Special operative Schnee. To what do I owe this visit?

???-I was told about a child that was a little brother to my sister's team leader. (Y/N) Rose, if i'm not mistaken.

Glynda-... Do tell.

???-May I come in for a friendly chat?

(Timeskip)

Glynda told me to just focus on playing, but that's very hard to do when there are robots with weapons outside the front door, and this lady was carrying a sword on her side. Glynda and her were having some tea as they sat at the table, opposite sides of each other. I saw the lady with white hair looked at me while I was looking at her and now that I looked at her long enough she kinda looked a lot like Weiss, not just from her white hair.

(Flashback Start)

(Flashback End)

Her eyes were the exact same color and they dress kinda the same too.

???-It's not very polite to stare without introducing yourself.

(Y/N)-Oh, sorry. You just remind me of someone. I mean, you have the same color hair and eyes, you dress kinda the same, and you both fight with swords.

???-Ah, that would be my little sister Weiss. I'm her older sister, Winter Schnee.

(Y/N)-I didn't know Weiss had a sister?... Do you also have brother?

???-I do.

She didn't sound very happy when she said she had a brother and I wondered if they just had a fight, but it should be easy to make up. Glynda and her had a talk now over tea and it was boring stuff almost like saying hello at first, but then...

Winter-Now for the reason why I am here.

Glynda-I already know why. I'm taking your sister called you to help return her leader's little brother to them, but he ended up in my care temporarily for a very good reason. The only question I have about that is that if your sister told you.

Winter-I'm aware of the kidnapping and the kidnappers are still out there. The rules at huntsman academies are clear when a child visits as well, so I do believe this was the best decision, but it does require "a lot" of generosity.

Glynda-Are you questioning me taking in a child until the father returns home?

Winter-I'm questioning your motives. I was told this was not the first time you had him in your care.

Glynda looked kinda mad for a moment before she calmed down then took a sip of her tea then Winter did the same.

(Winter's POV)

What my sister told made it clear that my sister wants (Y/N) back with her team when I can't do that without breaking a lot of rules, as too the general if I call in this favor. That being said Glynda's actions were questionable as well because she has her own duties to fulfil and here she is taking in a child instead of finding someone better suited for the job, even a private nanny to look after him here would've been more reasonable... Unless she has other motives, but I never took her for having those "special interests" in children. I had to be sure about this for myself, but I will play this by the book.

Glynda-I took him in to follow the rules and to not leave him in the hands of a stranger.

Winter-What does that make you?

Glynda-Excuse me?

Winter-(Y/N), did Glynda ever go to your house before you were kidnapped?

(Y/N)-Um... No, I don't think so.

Winter-As I thought. You might've known Tai as student and a huntsman, but not as a family man. I am also willing to bet you never formally met his children before his daughters entered Beacon.

Glynda-What's your point?

Winter-My point is this seems as to a surprise by your course of action, unless there might be something else at play here?

She gave me a glare as she sipped her tea then I noticed (Y/N) leaving to go to the bathroom and when we both saw this I was done beating around the bush.

Winter-Now that the child has left the room, let's be more blunt while we can. You have another reason for wanting him with you or you would've stopped at nothing to find other suitable family members or gone to deliver (Y/N) to Tai yourself if you had to.

Glynda-I am keeping him safe.

Winter-Does the council know about this, the general?

Glynda-As a matter of fact they do. We discussed this matter and I don't care of your ranking. You will not come into my home, start a commotion, and try to take him behalf of your sister. You have no authority or right to do this here.

Winter-You're right... I don't, not without reason. I'll request the general to come here for a meeting with the headmaster of this academy.

Glynda-... Just come out and say it. You believe I would take advantage of a child like that? Because I would never!

Winter-Then you have nothing to worry about if I message the general right now? I'll also be staying a while longer to over see this unless instructed by he or Ozpin.

She gripped her cup, but just then (Y/N) came back him with his hands still a little bit wet from washing his hands, but Glynda just went over to him and picked him up. She sat on the couch with him on her lap and he nuzzled into her a little as she put on a show for him. I just pulled out my scroll and requested for the general to come.

((Y/N)'s POV)

Winter looked a little busy before she was done then came over here to sit next to us and watch the cartoon. I wanted to lay down to watch the show, so I put my head on Winter's lap without taking my eyes off the T.V. which made her flinch a little.

Winter-Excuse me (Y/N), what are you doing?

(Y/N)-Huh, is something wrong?

I turned to face her and just then I saw her cheeks turn a little pink before she shook her head a little.

Winter-It's important to always ask first. I never gave consent for you to lay your head on my lap.

(Y/N)-Huh, I never did that with my sisters or others and they were just fine.

Winter-Even Weiss?

(Y/N)-Uh-huh.

Glynda-Sweetie, why don't you just lay your head on my lap?

Glynda pulled me back until my head was on her lap now, but I wondered why Winter didn't like my head on her lap when everyone else does? I remember this show where I saw this shy person that didn't like to be around others until he made.

(Y/N)'s mind-Oh, she's just shy. She just needs a friend.

(Glynda's POV)

I was petting (Y/N)'s head which was very relaxing for the both of us, but soon I felt him scoot up towards Special Operative Schnee and this got her attention as well. He had a smile on his face as he reached out to her put his hand on her lap then gave her a bigger innocent smile. This made her blush, but it made me very made, but I kept it hidden then pulled him back over and his hand away from her.

Glynda-Sweetie, remember what she said. Just leave her be and later... i'll let your sisters watch you for a moment while I take care of some "business".

(Y/N)-*Gasp* Yeah!

I gave Winter a look and it made me sick I had to leave my baby alone with a team of children that lost him once, but I will make sure they are condoned to their dorm with the droids as guards. They will see him, but they will not take him anywhere.

(Winter's POV)

I came here strictly on the request of my sister then to see if Ms. Goodwitch was having sexual intercourse with a very underaged child... So why am I feeling this way? I never felt this way for a long time when I was just a child and I... first saw my little sister. It was not like he was my brother because I only have one, given that he's a tremendous pain that kisses up to father constantly. I know this feeling... It was like starting over as an elder sister all over again.

Winter's mind-He's not my brother though,... but yet.

I looked at him and he was still looking at me with a smile and I felt my heart skip a beat, so I looked away and to my scroll to look busy.

Winter's mind-Get a hold of yourself! This is just a job and holding up the law. You should never get too attached to the job!

I tried to fight it, but I kept on stealing glances as he watched his cartoon here. I had no idea what was coming over me, but I just felt more determined to get him away from her.

Winter's mind-Y-Yes. Just convince the others that (Y/N) can't be around a busy professor because that could hurt progress for her students. After that she loses them and I give him back to my sister's-... They did lose him too, so... maybe I should explore a few other options.

My heart felt heavy as I weighed my options and no matter what I tried to do, only one of the options felt right.

(Timeskip)

(Ruby's POV)

Weiss's sister was taking forever and we were waiting in our dorm, but all of the sudden there was a knock on our door. Weiss was closest to the door, so she answered it and when we saw who it was, we were so happy, but also kinda confused when my little brother came in and gave Weiss a hug.

RWBY-(Y/N)!

We just weren't happy when Professor Goodwitch walked in and had 2 Atlas robots at our door and she looked serious.

Goodwitch-Good evening team RWBY. I came to drop him off for a while to attend a matter of Ms. Schnee's older sister. You just won't be allowed to leave this room with him... Someone will be back for him, so enjoy this time as a family with a few friends. As you were.

She left with a coldness in her voice as she closed door and if Weiss's sister pulls threw...

Ruby's mind-You won't be getting him back... He'll be staying with us again.~
