((Y/N)'s POV)

We were back at the castle, I was in Alicia's room, the windows and everything were locked, guards were all over the place, and even if I was very nervous, I did not want to leave this room to be surrounded by guards. I have no idea where the king is but it made me even worse that I was on the bed he sleeps on and he hates my Grandpa then looks angry with me. My body would not stop shaking and the voices at the door were making it worse so I decided to hide under the bed. I know it would not fix anything but it made me feel a little better. When the door opened I saw the girl's feet walk in before closing the door. That's when I thought they were looking for me, and then Blaze looked under the bed to find me.

Blaze-Giggles What are you doing under there? ~

(Y/N)-Whine.

Blaze-Did you just whine?... That's so cuuute. ~

She reached under the bed and helped me out to carry me. I saw Sally and Queen Alicia walk up to me then Blaze gave me to the queen.

Alicia-Awwww, you look so scared. Are you scared of the guards? ~

(Y/N)-Um... Y-Yeah.

Alicia-Well, don't you worry. They all take orders from me now after the king left. You just stay by us and everything will be ok. Speaking of... We ordered some food and I have a lap pillow with your name on it. ~

She got back on the bed with me and put my head on her lap to look up at her, and then Blaze and Sally sat at my sides.

Sally-We told you that you need to stay in bed, silly. ~

She leaned down to kiss my nose and rubbed my tummy while Alicia played with my hair. I tried to curl up and my body tensed from feeling weird about this but Blaze helped my body feel warm and relaxed without me doing it.

Blaze-Much better... My helper Julie-Su said she spotted you in a crib... Did you think it was cozy in there? ~

(Y/N)-Um... I... You see, they told me... It's...

Alicia-You don't need to say it. We'll see soon enough. Just relax. ~

The door opened and I saw lots of guards come in which scared me and I backed up until my head hit Alicia's tummy. 

(Alicia's POV)

He was like a scared little bird when it came to the guards as we already predicted. I loved the feeling of him scooting back into me for protection as the guards did checks on the food. This would be done in the hall for a safety check, but here it's for safety and getting my baby to learn that our embrace is a safe space for him. When the guards left the room, I felt (Y/N) slid back down to my lap. Sally started by getting a tray of grapes, pineapple, strawberries, and bananas. The deal is I get to hold him while the girls feed him. He tried to reach for some pineapple but Sally beat him to it and held it up to his mouth.

Sally-Sorry, Sweetie. Feeding you is our job. Say ahhhhhhh. ~

(Vanilla's POV)

Vanilla-Ahhhh!

I flopped down onto my bed after my house was falling apart. Cream would ask about (Y/N) and I don't know if he's safe somewhere or not! Ever since I had to give him to the castle, I heard nothing and could not say anything! Then guards were mobilized and I noticed an army coming in with another princess! There was something going on and something was telling me that it had something to do with (Y/N). Cream is not oblivious to this and even when I try to change the subject with her she seemed bothered. She was not the only one. When I was at the market I ran into Amy and she looked worried about all of this too.

Amy-Hey, have you heard from Sally by any chance? She's been very busy lately and it's hard to find time with her.

Vanilla-I'm... afraid not. Perhaps you could go there in person and Sally may let you in without an appointment.

Amy-She claimed to be busy and while she was away, she wouldn't even return my calls.

This is ridiculous. I was one of the first few to take care of him when he was a wreck and clearly something happened in their care when guards were all over the place before marching off to an attack. I made my way back home and I saw Cream just sitting on the couch while cuddling a pillow.

She still looked worried and no answer I could give would satisfy her. I just want to make sure (Y/N) is being cared and loved for while the royal family is giving him a sense of security. I just don't see him being surrounded by guards who are trained to fight his Grandpa and no doubt harbor a hatred for his kind.

Vanilla-Cream, Honey. I just got back, but Mommy is going to try and make an appointment or talk to someone somewhere.

Cream-Is it with Princess Sally?

Vanilla-... Yes.

(Amy's POV)

I have been kept in the dark for long enough and I was the one who found him to bring him here safely in the first place. I deserve to see him too! I'm heading to the castle right now to see what is going on over there because scrambling before marching off to war is not a good sign! I don't trust her father who wants to use (Y/N)'s mind as a weapon! He needs to be in a loving home with no hate directed at him at all and that made me look at the guards who got fired recently for something and left the kingdom.

Amy's mind-What kind of friend takes a child you saved, puts him in a castle where her father and guards hate his kind, and doesn't even bother to keep you updated?

I wanted an explanation and to see (Y/N) and I want it now!

(Bunnie's POV)

I got messages from Sally that she knew I was keeping (Y/N) at my home without telling her. She said that she would leave this out of her court in the name of our friendship but she wanted to talk to me on a later day. Until then, I was not to go 2 blocks near the castle. Cosmo was worried and she even knew about her too but to be around those guards and her father was really dangerous. We just had to get him back before all the work we did became undone!

Bunnie's mind-Sorry, Sally Girl... I got my baby boy to look after.

(Sally's POV)

(Y/N) got some snacks and a nice meal to fill up his belly which also meant he couldn't move as much. Our idea to manipulate him with comfort and pampering is working and we can just tell that he was loving every last bit of it. Soon though, we heard a knock on the door which should be important because we asked not to be disturbed. I went to answer the door since (Y/N) was cozy with his head on my mother's lap and Blaze was eating.

Sally-Yes? I trust this is urgent.

Guard-Yes, Princess. You have two visitors and they know about the human. Your friend Amy is one of them.

I pulled out my phone where I had all notifications blocked and silenced but when I checked, I had so many from all of my friends.

Sally-Who is the other visitor?

Guard-Her name is Vanilla Rabbit.

Sally's mind-Cream's mother is here too? She must know he's safe here because we talked about this.

Sally-Bring them to my room so we can talk privately. I will be there as soon as we put the human down for a nap. Make sure they are well taken care of as well.

He bowed to me before he left and when I got back on the bed to caress (Y/N)'s cheek, we saw that his eyes were getting droopy. It was from all of this comfort, warmth, soft speaking, cuddling, and a full tummy that his body and mind were just so relaxed.

(Y/N)-W-Was that the yawn king?

Sally-No, Sweetie... Let's get you under the covers with us. You look sleepy. ~

((Y/N)'s POV)

The girls did everything without letting me lift a finger and Queen Alicia held me close with my face buried into her to block the sunlight. Sally whispered something to Blaze before she put Blaze next to me and she felt so warm which made me even more tired. Sally covered us in the blanket before she got on top of us.

Alicia-Isn't this much better than just cuddling with one of us? ~

I was afraid to talk because I would be muffled by her chest which was making my face burn up. She rubbed my head and Blaze used her body to squish me between them some more before they closed their eyes. They kept on petting me until I couldn't even keep my eyes open anymore... I fell asleep to Sally kissing my head.

(Timeskip 10 Minutes)

(Vanilla's POV)

I am currently pacing back in forth waiting for Sally after the guard brought us to her room and offered us food and drinks while we waited. Water was fine but I have a daughter waiting for me so I had to get someone to my house to watch her. Amy was sitting on a couch tapping her foot impatiently until we heard the door open. It was another guard.

Guard-Is everything-.

Amy-No, everything is not fine! WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG NOW!!!

Vanilla-Get. Someone. IN HERE TO TALK ABOUT (Y/N)!!!

He flinched and I hardly ever lose my temper like this. That's when Sally finally came in and moved the guard aside.

Sally-I got it from her. Go do your rounds.

She closed the door and Amy got up while Sally gave me a look. I looked into a mirror and say my fur was sticking up so I fixed myself.

Vanilla-Sigh We both came at the same time to talk about (Y/N). Is he doing well? Eating right?

Amy-Scared by all of these guards flooding this hall to your mom and dad's room?

Sally-That is for security reasons but I can assure you both he's safe. I just helped put him down for a nap after we spoiled him with affection. It's something to help his mental state... Is there anything else you want to talk about him?

Vanilla-Actually, there is.

I took a seat this I know this is going to take a while but this needs to happen.

Amy/Vanilla-He needs to come back to live with me.
