Undead Wastes is a Fifth Edition plug-in adventure for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 1, 3, 5, or 8. This document offers a general guideline on scaling the adventure for each level. The party must defend a small village on the edge of a frozen wasteland from droves of the undead.

The following creators made this adventure possible:

  • Design and Writing. DMDave, Ninetoes82
  • Editing and Layout. Aubrey Moore, Tony Casper
  • FoundryVTT Editor. Bob Carnicom
  • Cartography. Tom Cartos (get FREE versions of the maps here)
  • Art. Fat Goblin Games, Shutterstock

Foundry Pack: Coming soon.

Note: We're testing out a new format to prepare these for publishing, so there will only be a black/white version of this one. Next week's should have color again. If you plan to print your copy, make sure to adjust your settings so that it "prints to printable area", otherwise, it'll come with wide margins at the bottom and right.

Let us know what you think.

Read the note at the bottom :P We were testing it out for a new publishing format. Next week will be back in color.

I wanna say that it's multiple Into the Wilds ones. I posted the whole list, but it looks like a lot of the ones from the Plains and Forest sections

The text format looks fine, but the pages with the maps do not lend themselves to B&W. Maybe the adventures with basic lineart maps would work this way but for ones that are designed to be seen in color it's basically just two pages of grey blobs (and giving them captions that don't seem to match the names on the linked page doesn't help that).

Yeah, we're going to color after this'un. They don't look great with Tom's maps

Takes me back to olden times with B&W pages in a Trapper Keeper

Is the VTT pack for this one being skipped? You said a couple of weeks ago that the map list was posted, I don't know where to find that list.

I am going to be honest. Part of what makes these great is just being able to plug and play. Doing all this stuff to go hunt down which maps I need and cross referencing to get them and then load everything up and place monsters and stuff is a major turn off. The black and white doesn't help me at all as I use only digital. I like that you give the option for black and white but this one being only in black and white print friendly format means along with all the extra setup time on this end means this one will get skipped by me. The adventure is good just the extra work when paying for the foundry tier kinda sucks. I hope you get the time in the future to come back and give this one the love it deserves.
