Thank you, everyone (Patreon)

Hey all!

I want to just say thank you to all of you who are patrons. Both old patrons and new patrons alike and even those who are no longer patrons.

This morning, I had a couple of folks give me some pretty abusive messages and it really sent me reeling. I recognize that DMDave might seem like a "big company" some days, but really it's just me, my partner-in-crime Laura, and a handful of third-party creators. That's it.

Not everything we do is perfect. And I'm not perfect for damn sure. I've made mistakes. Plenty!

But one thing I've always taken to heart is that I try to learn from feedback and mistakes. 

If you have an issue, you can contact me via operations@dmdave.com, on Discord, on here, or even on Instagram. 9 times out of 10 I'll try to take care of it right away doing whatever it takes. 

At the end of the day, this is just words on a page and art on a screen. It's not worth sweating over the little stuff. 

But you have to talk to me first. I can't do anything for you if your first reaction is anger and/or abuse. The world's got enough of that as it is. And this is D&D, man. For like... $3! C'mon.

Anyways, I know this doesn't pertain to 99.99% of you. Out of the thousands of folks who've been patrons, only a very small minority have been abusive. So many of you are awesome wonderful people who support what we do even when we royally screw the pooch. 

And many of you have even become people I consider friends.

Thank you all so much. And I hope I can continue to create great content for you.
