I just posted a new video about the Coast Guard's workhorse, the RBM, "Response Boat - Medium".  It's a huge jet boat that can do amazing things. Thank you so much for supporting Smarter Every Day! I really appreciate your support as a Patron.

Absolutely awesome! Spectacular the way they flew back to port, dropped you off, picked up a couple more guys, some further information and like a shot they’re on the way! I had a 28-foot boat so I have some understanding of boats but that 45-footer is simply amazing. Thanks so much for sharing!

Awesome video Destin! Between your deep dive series and the video I saw of a rescue diver plucking a woman out of her car right above Niagara Falls I have a much broader understanding and appreciation for the Coast Guard.

Hey man. You need to come to New Zealand and see how those pumps are build at Hamiltons in Christchurch. They are just up the road from me. As an engineer... its impressive.. ps Thanks for the new baseball stickers 👍

My favorite of the national guard series so far, that boat has some INCREDIBLE engineering, never would have guessed boats could have that kind of maneuverability

Another Kiwi saying you should check how the jet units are made at Hamilton Jet In Christchurch NZ. My brother worked for them for several years.
