 Hi all Patrons!

Here is yet another update for my 4K texture pack for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the GameCube and Wii. This update includes new textures, and also updates some previous ones from the previous releases. New textures include new UI textures (new item icons, button textures etc.) This is a smaller update than the last one, but just as important. I've focused on fixing annoying bugs, glitches and oversights. This includes the disturbing "black eyes" glitch (seen in the screenshot above) as well as the game not being playable properly on the PAL (European) version of the game. There are also shader tweaks, performance improvements and the infamous "1/4 of my screen is weird" bug has been fixed. I'm also looking into a W.I.P 60 fps option, but it's not quite ready... yet! Without further ado, enjoy!

Installation:

Simply extract the .ZIP file somewhere on your computer and start the game using the provided custom version of the Dolphin Emulator (named as "Zelda TP4K Dolphin Emulator.exe"). All settings should be preset to my optimal settings, but you are of course free to tweak them so the game looks however you prefer! To improve performance, try lowering the internal resolution a bit in the graphics settings.

You MUST provide your own ROM file of Twilight Princess, it is not distributed here. Let me know if you experience any bugs or issues!

The 4K version of the texture pack is available to all you Patrons starting today, with a 1080p version available to everyone for free on my website in two weeks from when this post was published! Like always, beware before downloading it since it's a large file, over 4GB!

Enjoy!

(Only available through the use of an emulator, the texture pack does not work on real GameCube or Wii consoles).

You can find more information about my HD texture pack here.

You can find the download here: Easy Install (1.0.4 2020-08-08 Patreon Release)

I am only able to create things like this thanks to your support, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me do what I love!

Yes! Simply copy the .DDS files inside User > Load > Textures into the same directory in normal Dolphin. You will lose my default settings, shader presets and hacks by doing this so it’s not recommended, but it is possible!
