Whew! Finally got this finished, lol. I would have had it out sooner, but as mentioned in the update post, there was a lot to this one I had to go back and re-render. Then last night, a few more issues stuck out and I had to re-render even more of it, lol. Overall, it's been quite the process.

One of the things I was worried about this animation was the mud sim, which is pre-baked and doesn't loop like the animation itself. So, my solution (which I'm kind of proud of, lol) was to simply take the first frame of the animation, then fade into it at the end of the video. The way that the mud just morphs back to its initial state is a bit jarring, but it's not too abrupt and I think it looks smooth enough.

There's also some general issues and jank with this animation that are more visible from this angle than they would be otherwise be; it wasn't really designed to be seen from a static camera like this. However, I've fixed up a lot of the problems, and overall I'm pretty happy with how it's come out.
