Hello again! Thought I'd drop in and give everyone an update as to what I've been up to. I know you might be wondering where the diamond-tier exclusive angle is.

I had it ready and was going to post it last night, and then I noticed a couple errors that really stuck out, and were incredibly obvious due to the new camera angle. I was hoping that I could get away with just re-rendering small sections, but unfortunately these issues affected the entire latter half of the animation. 

So, I'm having to re-render all of that, which by my estimates will take 11 hours, rofl. What that means for y'all is that the angle will either be posted tomorrow at best, or the day after at worst. But one way or another, I'm getting it to you folks, lol.

In other news, the double tentacle animation you all saw a preview of is going good. I've actually changed around (again) the hyena's rig for this animation, this time utilising something that comes from the newer model I'm working on: a "target bone" that the head tracks to. The head then transfers its rotations down the spine, causing the entire torso of the character to move and bend naturally when the character's looking around.

The results are a little bit wonky, as this character wasn't designed for this kind of thing, but it looks decent and I think I should be able to get some pretty good results out of it. The only thing is that due to the nature of "copy rotation", the rig never resets properly and so I wouldn't be able to get a proper loop. So, I might have to figure out some other solution, maybe switching camera angles to mask the issue or something. Not sure yet, lol.

Speaking of the other model! It's coming along really well. I'm really excited to show it off. The biggest thing is the way it's rigged, which is a huge step up from my original model you've all been seeing. It was really important to me this time around to have it be a lot easier to animate, so I'm using a system of bendy bones and IK chains to allow for much simpler animation. 

I'm even half considering taking that armature and just applying it to my original character, because I'm tired of fighting the rig every time I want to make an animation, lol.
