I decided to re-draw some of Hedon's textures to the style I want to use in Haggard, which will basically be more detailed and with a stronger painterly feel to it. The textures will still be pixelated, except in 128x128 size rather than Hedon's 64x64 standard.

It is important to figure out the visual rules I want to stick to early on, so I picked 32 textures used in Map15 (the abandoned dwarven town in Bloodrite) in order to re-make and re-apply them to the very same level, and thus get a good feel of what Haggard can potentially look like.
So far, I am very pleased. Stay tuned for more updates on this!

Liking the new textures. Especially the scuffs and scratches on them. Might be good to make some variants, some clean, some scuffed in different places and ways. Loving the new update btw, just started my new Bloodrite playthrough last night. It's taken a while, but Deep Chill has REALLY grown on me. It's a fun map with a lot going on, one of my favourites. Someday I'll update the tier lists to reflect the new Bloodrite stuff and then I'll make a full tier list of each of the levels - Milk it for Youtube Ad Revenue or something. Anyway, keep up the good work!
