Does Clerks count as a grocery store movie? Discuss.

Settle an ongoing debate from another podcast: Is "The Mist" a twist?

I have seen Food Fight. It is a fever dream. It is terrible. It is an experience to behold. For one, Larry Miller and Wayne Brady are total pros. Charlie Sheen clearly recorded his stuff while on the John. There are a bunch notable names there, that it is clear all the budget went there (Christopher Lloyd and Cloris Leachman!). Worth checking out if you want to see what insanity looks like (Good bad movie).

Frank Darabont wanted the movie to have more of a '60s monster movie throwback feel, which is why some of the dialog feels dated. He intended the film to be in black and white and his original movie poster really captured the feel of the movie.

Joan is so fucking funny!

This episode is nearly unlistenable with the number of times Joan says “like”. Find guests that are “microphone ready”.

In 1981's All Night Long, Gene Hackman plays an executive turned grocery store night manager who has an affair with Barbra Streisand. Some great scenes inside the store and old product logos to enjoy.

I listened to this like 3x because it was so enjoyable. Joan rules!
