I signed up for the Patreon solely for this and it didn't disappoint. I love how Mitch's hatred for the movie is matched only by his inability to explain his hatred. 20 QUARTER portions (5 forks).

It’s so obvious that Nick doesn’t really like this movie but Nick wants to have fun with everyone else who loves it so badly. I still haven’t watched it, I’m so scared of the Disneyfication of Star Wars but I loved listening to this shit. Mitch is so grumbly it’s ultimately comforting! I also need to say that slightly sick Nick is so funny! He gets a lil loopy and loose like I do and it’s a joy to listen to here especially with Mitch balancing it out! Love you guys!

I don't know if I can handle Spoonman trying to find things to hate about the movie for 2 hours.

I synced this up and watched it yesterday and loved every second of the podcast and the movie. Please do more commentaries! I'm a casual Star Wars fan and loved Force Awakens. I definitely side with the burger brigade on this, I too am swayed by all the times the movie is "havin' fun." Hearing Mitch's thoughts on the movie I've come to this conclusion: Dude is a much bigger Star Wars fan than I am. Most of the points he makes I can see what he's saying, but they aren't deal breakers for me or they're references to the previous films I did not catch. If I was that big a fan I'm sure all the stuff he mentioned would bug me too. I feel the same way about James Bond. If I had to watch a Bond movie by someone other than Broccoli/Wilson/Eon I'd be just as irked at any misstep and no matter what it wouldn't be the same. I do offer one lighthearted rebuttal though: I think any level of humor JJ and Co want to put into Star Wars is okay with me because Lucas was okay with a fart joke in Phantom. No matter how witty the banter Poe dishes out, it ain't no fart joke.
