The Final Cut is the best version. It's basically the Directors Cut with some extra little bits and some cleaned up effects (the main example is fixing the stunt woman's face being very visible during Zhora's death scene). The directors cut got rid of the studio interference inflicted bad voiceover, a bad tacked on ending of Deckard and Rachel driving into pretty countryside (including shots cut from the drive to the Overlook from The Shining!). The unicorn dream was put in in the Director's Cut and is certainly there because Ridley Scott's POV is that Deckard is a replicant, therefore Gaff knowing about it and doing the origami of it). But the film leaves it unsaid and 2049 does not answer the question. Anyway, this is 100% my favourite film. And it turned me into a massive Vangelis (hard G, btw) fan. Especially his mid-70s to early 90s period. Check out albums like Spiral or L'apocalypse ded Animaux.

I’ve been watching this movie ever since the 80s so the theatrical cut with happy ending and noir inspired narration is normal to me and it didn’t stop me from thinking this movie is amazing. Personally, I never believed Decker was a replicant and all the added unicorn dreams and other allusions in the other cuts doesn’t change that.
