I haven't seen that many Wes Anderson movies but I was very aware of his style and so I was very excited to check this one out. I really enjoyed it!! Of course, Anderson's visual style and camera work is a treat for the eyes and creates such a unique visual style is is immediately recognizable, but the thing I was actually the most surprised by was the dialogue. I feel like Wes Anderson's camera work overshadows this in many senses, but his dialogue feels just as unique and Wes Anderson-ny as the camera work. The way characters are so literal with each other and the audience, the innocent and blatant language used which left little to the imagination. The way the dialogue felt un-complex in a very complex way. I found it very fascinating!

Of course, the cast is STACKED and everyone does a fantastic job. It took me about 20 min to get into the movie but once I was there, I has a really enjoyable, and sometimes emotional time with the Tenenbaums!!!

Hey. Since you already reacted to the film "Backdraft" (1991) with Kurt Russell, William Baldwin and Robert De Niro.
