Mini Review #13: Star Trek DS9 "Progress" and "If Wishes Were Horses" (Patreon)

I LOVED Progress as an episode. The conflict between Kira's sense of duty against her understanding of the underdog was really compelling to watch and the ending was heartbreaking while also being a 'good' ending. The old man and his stories was very fun to watch and the B plot with Jake and Nog trading up in an attempt to make profits was so much fun to watch!

Now, If Wishes Were Horses was another one of those hyped bad episodes but I gotta say, I had a lot of fun with this one. The concept of imagination coming alive is a really cool one and I thought the show handled it in a very entertaining way. I hated Rumple for no reason other than I did and I loved the baseball player and his connection to Sisko. Overall fun and enjoyable and not a death watch like some people said it was!
