The franchise is built on spoofing bits of other movies and shows, but the opening scene is doubly meta; it's a parody of the Union Station shootout from 'The Untouchables', which itself is a homage to the Odessa Steps scene from 'Battleship Potemkin'.

There are a few seconds in the review portion where you pause, look down, think, and then continue. It was nice to see your process, but you may have intended to edit that out? I think it’s cool to leave in though :)
