You’re right…. I don’t think I’ve seen a better villain as Homelander in a long time. Not only is he an ass, he’s got smugness from knowing nobody can stop him and everyone looks up to him as a hero while he looks on them as insects. It seems like because of his narcissism the only real battle he needs to fight is to make sure everyone keeps loving him…evident by his reasoning for not saving the one kid on the plane. The actor that plays him is great…makes you not only despise him but makes it fun to watch him being evil.
