"Why do I already have chills" :) Because this is awesome! One of my favorite episodes. Commenting here, before I see the whole reaction, just hope you enjoyed it as well!

I love The Visitor, perhaps the most emotional DS9 episode. Tony Todd also appeared in a bunch of TNG episodes as Worf's Klingon brother. Worf became security chief on the Enterprise right after Tasha Yar was killed by oil slick monster Armus. Time for some techie stuff, in the episode they talk about a warp core breach on the Defiant. Starships are powered by matter and antimatter which when brought together in a controlled manner creates immense power but if they contact each other uncontrolled the result is annihilation on a vast scale. When we hear that a warp core breach is in progress this is perhaps the worst thing that can happen to a starship, it refers to the fact that the magnetic containment keeping the matter and antimatter separate is failing and the ship could be doomed. The solution is to eject the entire warp core, the big glowing column in engineering, into space to blow up there. More techie stuff, horayyyyy!!! In order not to break the laws of physics, which says ships can't go faster than light, when a ship goes to warp what happens is the nacelles, those two long thin tubes on ships, generates a warp bubble which shifts the ship into subspace which is a realm not ruled by the laws of physics and where ships can go faster than light. As a Star Trek fan I would highly recommend buying the Star Trek Ships of the Line calendar, I have been buying them for years now. They feature 13 (12 months plus a centerfold) fantastic artworks from all the Star Trek series in a landscape format which means you hang the calendar sideways and the image is huge covering both sides of the crease, indeed the calendar is quite small and not really the point.
