They announced the 10th anniversary and the final light novel volume release a few moths ago. Hopefully we get some news either this year or next year. This anime is so good.

It’s really not that difficult to understand he’s been getting the unfair treatment and the shows literally about breaking those unfair walls down, plus it’s not difficult to see Japan would be strict enough to imprison him especially when his dad has ties to do that, it was all to purposely make him look bad your supposed to not like it because he shouldn’t be locked up it’s supposed to not make sense so that the build up of him wining makes even less sense but is a cool pay off for him and bro Nexus doesn’t own chivalry they can’t make another season unless silver link gives it to them the director of this season works at silver link but doesn’t direct anymore so it’ll be pretty hard to get another season unless they hand it off to another studio

he got locked up because of his family. his family hates him more than anything thats been the theme of the whole show hes been roadblocked basically from graduating unless he fufils the special conditions of winning the whole tournament. they thought he would lose already so they are doing everything they can to break him. his family is pure and utter trash. theyre using the relationship with stella to try and get him to be removed from the tournament under grounds of indecency because he doesnt stop winning matches Also there is hope for a season 2. J novels recently acquired all the rights to this IP and are fully translating all of the novels

-The Light Novel just finished(12/23). -Manga was cancelled(2018). -The original company translating to English went under at the end of 2020. -The English Translations just got licensed again(11/23). So, with the Light novel just now finished and the English translation starting back up, maybe a new season is in the works.
