If sunji was in Kuja island instead of luffy, then there would be one less Strawhat cuz he would be dead for sure XD

Based on what we know so far (plus what we know from 420 & 421): Luffy - amazon lily, to learn about haki maybe? though it's not like he did learn about haki really Zoro - an island with perona, not really sure how that helps him get stronger Nami - this one makes sense, her strengths in combat and out of combat relate with weather so it makes sense that that would help her grow Usopp - a dangerous island with man-eating plants, sure this could help him get stronger, but if he didn't meet heracles'n right away wouldn't he just get himself killed? But it feels like anyone of them would be forced to get stronger here, it's just a harsh environment Sanji - I guess he gets to train his legs because he's running from the locals. Does that mean Kuma knows sanji's obsessed with women and would be scared of cross-dressers? Chopper - Nearly died before doing anything (once from falling a huge distance and again almost getting eaten, but his captors decided they wanted to cook him alive for some reason) and knowing that he lives it's still not clear what the place he's at would do to make him stronger Robin - So being sent to somewhere with slave labor will make her stronger? Franky - this one also makes sense. Land of the future makes perfect sense for making franky, the cyborg, stronger Brook - he was definitely sent somewhere thematically relevant, but I don't see what makes that a place where he could get stronger So Nami and Franky were definitely sent to places that could help make them stronger, but it feels like a stretch for everyone else So far it seems closer to being sent to places they would like for some reason or another. Again Nami and Franky's still make sense, Brook's is very thematically on the nose, Robin likes history and Tequila Wolf has a 700 year history at least. The rest still seem questionable for me. Kuma didn't put them in water so I agree that Kuma wasn't trying to kill them at least.

You’ll see as it goes on. Luffy needed to learn Haki so Amazon Lilly, Nami and Franky you got spot on same with Sanji, he fights with his legs so running will help him a lot. The rest you shall see
