re wanting reaction vs theories @33:33 Personally I find the theory crafting the best part of the reactions, it's fun to see what people think when going through the series for the first time. When you're on the money or really close it's impressive, when you're way off it's hilarious, other times I forget what happens and I buy into the theories with you, and sometimes you make a far reaching theory that hasn't been answered yet and I think "nah that can't be it...wait could that be right?". Basically it adds a new perspective on the theory crafting I did when watching originally. On another note, I think the theory crafting will get more interesting as you get further into One Piece. Among other potentially far reaching things, at this point we've heard about poneglyphs, will of D, Luffy's relatives, four emperors/yonko, 7 warlords/shishibukai, the extents the World Government will go to to suppress knowledge of the void/blank century, also Blackbeard's pretty sus - point being that we're getting to a point where we've effectively been told the names of many of the pieces of the puzzle to start thinking about how it all connects (if at all). Your theories come up naturally as you watch, so for me that's a pretty natural time to discuss it, you could even separate theory crafting from the reaction in some way, heck I'd even enjoy if you pulled out a cork board and started tying strings between ideas. (but really just do whatever you prefer) ...maybe the feather is the One Piece after all...
