It's such a creative decision to reverse half of the OP both visually and musically. In "the making of" video they explained that director Li wanted a song playable in reverse to go with the video, and it required the music to be written in such unorthodox way it took a few months for it to came to fruition! And the storytelling both simple yet impactful: Cheng falling exactly like the girl he failed to save while everyone else looking at him. So glad to see this show back <3

There's so much going on LMAO I'll have to rewatch a couple of times to completely understand BUT I DONT MIND THAT AT ALL - This action is peak! Also, I'm pretty sure that they don't tell u if its a boy or a girl cuz of the old one-child policy that made people only want boys and get rid of girls, so now there's a large disproportionate amount of males to females in china.
