They definitely exaggerated Vash's refusal to attack humans, because in the og he'd shoot people just on the leg or the arm/hand in self-defense, but he'd never shoot to kill. In this, he won't even do that. It makes him feel equally as inhuman as Knives, like, the actual complete opposite now. Opposing god complexes. Stampede's WAY farther away from the og anime, and is closer to the manga, but it's still a complete re-imagining. These are all three so wildly different from one another, and I can only assume Stampede will end more like how the manga did, but honestly I have no idea at this point. I'd recommend the manga, but it definitely is its own thing. I got curious after binging Stampede and looked for blind reacts to it on youtube, but I'm seeing that most are only doing the first episode. Then I saw you saying under a video it was a copyright issue. I'm glad I saw that and followed you over to patreon to get to continue this journey. :D

So turns out Trigun Stampede is the prequel to the OG Trigun, ending right where OG Trigun started, with that July incident where Vash destroyed the entire city.
