Beautiful and wholesome conclusion. It was a rollercoaster and it was worth it.

Ngl, I wanted to tell you so bad that the whole "Linda pushed Banri off the bridge" theory of yours was definitely wrong but I didn't want to say anything since it would be sort of spoiler-y (either that or I just enjoyed having a laugh every time you said it on your reactions). One main criticism I have with this series, though, is the weird supernatural aspect towards the end. I get the whole past and present Banri imagery, where both personalities are depicted as "ghosts" to show that inner struggle in his head. But when the show literally had that last scene where the "ghost" Banri somehow got his ring back, after it fell into the river, just threw me off. Unless the ring falling off was just another figment of his imagination and it was just inside his pocket all along. Plus, the whole part in the end when Linda was running towards "ghost" Banri on the bridge to give him his long-awaited response to his confession, was weird to me... was that all in his head still? Or did it actually happen? These wtf moments are probably what's holding me back from ranking this series a lot higher on my top romcom picks of all time. And, same as your sentiments, I do feel bad for Oka-chan too. Yana still seems bent on pursuing Linda and it looks like she's finally decided to move on from Banri and seriously consider exploring a relationship with Yana. Overall, I'd give this series a decent 7/10. Would have given it an 8 if they did away with the weird supernatural aspect.

Funny, I also enjoy Golden Time more than Toradora, but I do rank Toradora higher. I just started watching anime (about 1 year), so I haven't seen a lot. So here are a few of my favorites: Kaguya, Toradora, Golden Time, Tonikawa, Horimiya and My Dress-Up darling. If I may expand the list with romance/drama I will add: A Silient Voice, Fruits Basket (best anime ever), Nana, Your lie in April. Oh! I also really enjoy Maid Same, just finished that one yesterday.

Binged your reactions/show in 2 days. I thought it was a really solid show, and I enjoyed all of the characters. Usually there is one or two characters I can't stand, but all in all , I really loved it. Really appriciate all the shows you bring to my attention, that I probably wouldn't have checked out, but I just end up watching on your patreon. If I got a lot of time on my hands I usually pick a show that you seem excited about , and it usually ends up being really good- thnx :)

Good series overall is exactly how I’d describe it as well. Every character other than the main three, Banri, Kouko, and Linda were extremely underdeveloped to the point I kinda wonder why they were there in the first place.
