Yeah when they meet again at the bar they were trying to say that now the environment seems more lively when before they didn't notice because they were in such despair from being betrayed but now with a true party they understand how nice it is to relax with people that respect you.

That amalgam certainly reminded me to the amalgams in Undertale, I wonder if there was a bit of inpiration from it?

Probably this and Reborn to Master the Blade are the two shows this season that I find are somewhat underwhelming in the animation department. The SoL shows aren't as apparent with subpar animation quality but for shows that have battles and effects, you can actually tell the ugly bits. Too bad, too, since I actually like the premise of this series.
