The beginning part of the OP is actually paying homeage to another KyoAni anmie "Nichijou", Given that Dragon Maid S is the first seasonal anime produced after the KyoAni arson incident, it really brings up my tears when I first saw the OP.

Honestly KyoAni has great animation in majority if not all their anime adaptations.. That’s why i can’t wait until you react to Violet Evergarden and Clannad (whenever you get around to them). They have more great titles too but those two are the ones I’d like to see you react to. Also that dragon you seen in the beginning, you’re not trippin. I wanna tell you who that was but idk if it’s a huge spoiler since I’m not a manga reader for this title.

Hmm... i mean, humans attacking a dragon village wouldn't even be a far fetched scenario though. All the humans that we met so far in Kobayashi's maid were nice but it doesn't mean that on the other side of the gate the humans weren't trash ? especially during medieval time. Oh and, the big ass dragon is Lucoa haha
