When young Gang-tae was drowning and she plucking the flower, the last petal was "not" but she still went to help him. Buried deep beneath her anti-social personality, she does have compassion. But even she herself is not aware of it.

This show effectively highlights how a person's environment can shape their mental health, regardless of whether they have a mental illness. In a previous episode, it was mentioned that Ko Moon Yeong has antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), also known as sociopathy. While the exact cause of this disorder isn't fully understood, genes may make you vulnerable to developing antisocial personality disorder, and life experiences, particularly neglect and abuse, can play a significant role in its development. The dynamic between Ko Moon Yeong and Moon Gang Tae is fascinating because of their contrasting behaviors. Ko Moon Yeong is unapologetic, impulsive, and reckless, while Moon Gang Tae is emotionally restrained and has learned to numb his feelings. From a young age, Gang Tae took on the role of a parent, caring for his older brother Sang Tae, who has autism and requires more support than a typical child. Gang Tae constantly hides his emotions to avoid upsetting his brother, as seen in the first episode when Sang Tae was expelled from school. However, through his interactions with Moon Yeong, Gang Tae begins to confront his own suppressed emotions. Her direct and sometimes abrasive manner pushes him to open up, express his pain, and recognize his own needs. Although sociopathy (ASPD) and autism are distinct conditions, the drama subtly explores how they can sometimes appear similar on the surface. Both Ko Moon Yeong and Sang Tae struggle with social interactions and exhibit behaviors that others might find difficult to understand. However, the motivations behind their behaviors are different. Ko Moon Yeong's actions are often driven by her emotional detachment and impulsivity due to ASPD, while Sang Tae's behavior stems from his difficulties in processing social cues due to autism.
